We the legislators of the United States of Shangia do hereby pass this law prohibiting war and mandating Shangian neutrality in all conflicts on the international scene.
To further the cause of this legislation, we hereby mandate steep cuts in military spending with the President being subject to impeachment should he refuse to carry them out.

We would love to support you on this motion, but there are much too many dangers in the NS world, and we as a nation have been forced to increase military spending recently, rather than cut back on it. As recently demonstrated by terrorist activites in our lands by an extremist group of another nation, sometimes it is not simply governments you have to defend against.

Our country is small and spends on a small amount on military spending, enough to defend us but not enough to scare out neighbours. We find this a good enough approach.

When it comes to giving money to differant things in our nation, we have not once not given it to the military. we have the most powerful military of most of our allies, and nothing will ever stop that.
