Zefyrz, for 500 years part of the Kingdom of Galdania, and then of the People's Republic of Galdania, is now an independant nation once again!

75% of all Zefyerens are ethnic Zefyerens, while 20% are Slavic Galdanians, with Jews, Arabs, and other immigrants making up the other 5%.

After our assassination of the Provincial Premier, Zefyrz has now set up a provisional government, consisting of 13 prominant Zefyeren Seperatists. One of the 13 is the new President of Zefyrz, but only the highest government officials know which of the council members he (or she) is. The reason behind the secracy is so that the Galdanian NKVD and KBBLA will not know which person to assassinate.

Due to the fact that 35% of soldiers in Zefyrz are still loyal to the Galdanian oppressors, armed militia groups must patrol all major cities. The provisional government has imposed an eight o'clock P.M. curfew, and has said that all breaking it will be arrested and/or shot.

Today, Zefyeren Militia VII captured and executed 24 Galdanian soldiers. The Provisional Government is uncertain weather they were actively attempting to disrupt the freedom of the Zefyeren people, or simply deserters afraid to fight. Most of the soldiers were armed, and did not stop at a Government checkpoint. Some people speculate that they may not have been able to read the signs indicating a checkpoint, or that they did not understand Zefyeren, the language the checkpoint guards were speaking.

One member of Zefyeren Militia VII was shot in the stomach by the soldiers, and is in critical condition at Numerich Memorial Hospital in downtown Zeppel City, the current capital of the Provisional Government.

This is the last straw! Zefyrz will peacefully reunite with Galdania immediately, or it will be reintegrated by force! :x

If the leaders of this so-called 'provisional government' surrender themselves now, we may consider throwing out the death penelty during their trials. In addition, any Zefyeren who turns in a leader of the seperatist movement will be granted total amnesty in the trials following the seemingly inevitable military strike.

It is very close. I'm not sure how many miles, but it's close. Close enough for missiles and airplanes to hit the other nation. In fact, Galdanian super-long-range artillary could probably graze the coast, in a pinch.

In light of this information, the $1 trillion USD in Kanuckistani aid will now be tied to the fair treatment and compensation of displaced persons, to take place under Kanuckistani supervision.

We don't like ethnic clensing, but atlease we can try and insure it doesn't necessitate genocide and/or the creation of poverty-stricken refugees.
