The people of Zefyrz have long been oppressed by Galdania. All Galdanians live under strict government control, but we in the province of Zefyrz have been singled out. Not for our religion, not for our political views, but simply for who we are. We are Zefyeren. We are NOT Galdanian. We have different genetics, different cultures, different language...we are an oppressed people, and now is our time to break free!

We know that Galdanian soldiers will come into our cities and shoot us, but we do not care. We will fight when we need to, and make peace when we need to. Our people have formed chains in the cities, and we chant the anthem of the Kings of Olde.

For 500 years we have lived under the Galdanian flag. No longer! We are Zefyeren, not Galdanian! We will be independant once more! We have the right to be democratic, to be communist, to be fascist, to be monarchist...it is our choice! It is a Zefyeren choice!

Now as we declare ourselves as Zefyrz, we request that the international community come to our aid. Not with guns, but with food, with building materials, with trade propositions.

Zefyrz is rural, compared to most of Galdania, so any supplies that could aid in our urbanization would be welcome. We also ask that we be recognized as an independant nation, with the rights and responsibilities of one.

Why would anyone not support Zefyeren freedom?

We give our unconditional support to the independence movement. Galdania, you will let a peaceful referendum on this take place with UN Ballot Monitors, and if you do anything to cheat this process or continue your vile regime of hatred and contemptuous treatment of the Zefyrz people, there will be no choice but to take military action.

The Domion of Kanuckistan formally acknowlegdes the nation of Zefyrz and is prepared to allocate 1 trillion UDS worth in aid, to be administered through our forgine aid and development agencies, who do to the risk of conflict, will be operating with Kanuckistani military escort. If this is acceptible, a preliminary assessment team will be dispatched immediatly.


We are also willing to engage in free trade between our two nations, should you be interested in such.

The Grunge-French Republic acknowledge the Indepedent government of Zefyrz, and formal diplomatic relations will be stablished as soon as possible: as an independent nation, it has the right of sovereignty, and any Galdanian imperialistic move against Zefyrz will be considered a flagrant hostile act against the principles of The Grunge-French Republic and thus, to our dignity.

We have not ruled out peaceful negotiations, but it seems unlikely that this can be resolved diplomatically.

The socialist People's Republic of Cho-to-ki offer our solidarity to the Zefyrzian independence movement, and against the social-imperialism of Galdania. For a self-proclaimed socialist nation to deny self-determination to oppressed nationalities within its borders is revisionism of the highest degree, and will be treated just as imperialism carried out by capitalist nations.

However, we will not lend material support to the Zefyrzian independence movement until we learn of its, say, ideological construct. Where does the independence movement stand on egalitarian land reform? What is its stand on capitalist imperialism? The Zefyrzian movement does not need to be explicitly socialist to receive our support, as Cho-to-ki believes that the strategy of allying with the national bourgeois for anti-colonial struggles is the best way forward when no large-based socialist group exists.

For the time being, Cho-to-ki will offer material support to socialist factions (or Zefyrzian equivalents, as socialism could be considered a Euro-centric ideology) in the independence movement.

We await the response of Zefyrz before we continue.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if this is true, then why did a spokesperson for the provisional government announce, 'Our intention is to cleanse ourselves of the Galdanian population, so that a perfect society will be within our reach. The Arabs, Jews, Asians, Slavs...They are all against our perfect society. We can only be perfect when we cleanse the impurities of our society.'

Assuming that this only represented an extreme faction of the Zefyeren movement, we are curious -- where does Zefyeren stand on peasant land reform? Is there a non-revisionist socialist faction in the independence movement that would recieve our support?

We do intend to reform land control, so that individuals will be able to own more land, thus allowing them to employ people privately. In Galdania, all farms are collectivized. :evil:

Not matter how many of our sons and daughters die if bloodshed occurs the FrigginRetardan nation will protect your borders with our military and trade with you. We know you do not want military support but you will need it, for Galdania will try to take your lands away from you once again.

Be careful before supporting Galdania: Galdania has a long history of genocides (more than 20,000 christians killed by Galdanian soldiers), terrorist acts (against the now dead C-GFIN), break of peace treaties... Galdania is known for backstabbing anyone who supports him sooner or later.

We MUST do whatever is needed to weaken the infamous Galdania, nations of the world, remember that having a short memory is the root of most of our problems...

Grunge-France slanders the name of Galdania. Yes, well over 50 years ago 19,000 people were killed. But we have broken no peace treaties, and we have never committed terrorist acts, unlike the nation of Volstik, who launched a sneak attack and killed 114 Galdanian sailors.
