Due to the recent location of the reaining rebels opposing the original government, and their sworn allegiance to Drayus, Drayus has ordered the design of a new warshp. This vessel is to have immense firepower, good maneuverability, be crewed by humans and Drayus himself, and be able to escape a battle if needed. The design is expected to be completed in one year (NS time), and after that, production onn the craft will commence. There will be one of these craft built, it will serve as our flagship. This cruiser's expected cost has forced the decomissioning of the Maelstrom Juggernaut due to its utter uselessness in combat, and to free resources that were being spent to maintain it. Construction will take place on the Blademasters Spacedock, a 200km long shipyard in orbit of the Homeworld's twin stars. We will also be developing and producing a fighter design and Aerospace transport for the Excalibur project.

The Excalibur is the ultimate warship. It is crewed by Drayus and a number of the remaining original citizens of Blademasters, who Drayus convinced to work with the AIs and himself. The Excalibur’s armor can reflect 70-80% of the damage inflicted by enemy weaponry, although the 20-30% can mount up quickly. Drayus commands the ship’s weapons and maneuvers while in combat, and the crew commands the tactical and strategic aspects of the fight. Drayus takes on amore passive role while the craft is not actively in combat. The soldiers carried are suited in heavy body armor, with built in weaponry. They also carry a pulse cannon, and in-ship weaponry for boarding defense. Passengers are classified as persons not part of the crew, and not in full body armor, passengers can be diplomats, or soldiers in light armor. The Fighter crew includes pilots, and maintenance crews. The Kharak II Cannon is a heavier version of the Kharak cannon, more powerful, and requiring considerably more energy. The cannon takes 30 seconds to charge, and after it fires, the ship must wait 30 seconds before its systems become operational again, because of the massive strain this gun puts on the Quantum Singularity. Only basic maneuvering and life support are functional while the singularity is rebuilding its power. Firing this cannon more than once every few hours will put a huge amount of strain on the power core, the ship’s frame, and the cannon itself. Prototype repeated fire of the cannon has resulted in loss of the entire prototype, the AI onboard, and the entire crew. The prototype literally shattered from the massive stress the repeated firing of the gun caused, and the Excalibur has been refitted to attempt to allow it to fire more often.

The Excalibur has been refined, due to the actual power surplus generated by the Quantum Singularity prototype, the designs have been modified to better use the excess power.

Quite frankly... you cant copyright and/or dictate who can use the reactor when its been used in Babylon 5 and Star Trek.

Well, It is copyrighted as a scientific theorum in real life....

Now that I see what kind of Quantum Singularity you use I realize it is completely different then mine. The kind that site describes actually uses Controlled Singularity to create energy while mine uses Controlled Singularity to store an immense amount of Quantum for later use in Fission.

Now you guys take your argument out of my thread. and my singularities are more similar to the ones in Star Trek, moving right along...
Caedlandia: The Active Stealth system: The entire ship is covered with a series of opposing cameras and holographic projectors. these, when activated make teh ship blend into the background, and when coupled with sensor jammers make it difficult to detect.
Any questions about Gravimetric engines should also be directed to b5tech.com (thats where i get most of my tech theories excluding weapons)

Holographic generators are highly compact... plus if you looked at teh specs you would see that it has a 20 meter thick hull underneath that :D

There is no way you can monitor teh progress of my ship, considering I'm building it at my spacedocks in my system, which only about ten other nations know the location of, and even if you did find it, you could not get past teh border defense sphere aka "the barrier" considering it has massive defensive weapons and hyperdrive inhibitors, FTL inhibitors, etc...

Be troubled all you like, but you can't stop it.

I'm sure I can't stop it... Especially when my space fleet consists of a small squadron of Space Shuttles converted to hold a large 250mm artillery gun in it's cargo hold... Yeah pretty crappy and probably won't even scratch your battle ship's paint.

Yeah, pretty much, and if you're going to yell godmoder after this, consider this: a september space nation (penguenia) has well over 2000 ships, I have 108 including my 100 fighters and light transports, so esentially, i have 8 capital ships. 'course, I'm strictly defensive unless someone pisses me off really badly. my defenses consist of an impenetrable wall, if it is penetrated, all my planets have massive defenses too, and then, as a last resort, i unload 30,000 tons of antimatter around my system, and completely annihilate everything within about 4 light years.
