Volstik, one of the largest islands off of Galdania's coast, is an independant nation that has been ruled by the same royal family for over 500 years. Now, however, that all threatens to change. Galdanian ships have been seen in the area, encircling the nation. King Volstik XXIII has announced that if further actions made by the Galdanians indicate that there will be an invasion, Volstik will not hesitate to strike first.

Volstik is not recognised as an inportant nation by most countries, as it's population is only 1,300,000. Volstik relies on it's fishing industry for economic survival, and many commercial vessels have reported being boarded and searched by Galdanian ships.

Many people expect that either Galdania or Volstik will launch attacks within the week, leading both nations into a bloody conflict.

The President wishes to know if there is any chance of avoiding blooshed and coming to a peaceful solution to your countries differences.

'Galdania will not attack Volstik, or any other nation, unless provoked. So far, we have violated no territory. We have, however, captured 16 Volstikian 'fishermen', who we believe are spies, while they were attempting to infiltrate a Galdanian submarine yard. They claim that they were only attempting to sell fish on the wharf, but we know better.

The INN logo flashes, as the International News Network, an independant U.K. based media station begins it's coverage of 'The Grey Sea Crisis'.

'Good Evening, I'm Brian Walters. Our top news story tonight is the war brewing in the Grey Sea between superpower Galdania and tiny, helpless Volstik.
It is unclear who fired the first shots, but both sides claim to have defended themselves from attack by enemy planes. Two Galdanian fighter jets were destroyed, along with three Volstikian air-superiority planes. One Galdanian pilot survived the dogfight and was picked up by Galdanian ships, while a Volstikian plane that survived the battle reported back to the capitol of Volstozgrad.
'The Galdanian navy is alreeady preparing to land troops on the southern part of the island, on the Heszval Peninsula and on the shores of Gladodz Bay. Volstik is preparing anti-air defences, a spokesman for the King told the media today in a press release.
'INN has reporters enbedded in Volstozgrad and Galdania's main naval port of Nanilovsk. We will keep you updated as the situation changes...'

The Five Civilized Nations are preparing to send an expeditionary force to assist Volstik in these attacks...

Galdania has been trying to unify its sorrounding territory since we have memory, and we know this communist beast will only respect other nations if force is used: We advise Galdania caution, because one never knows when the AoE2 Army will be ordered to march against someone, and the Galdanian Expansionism is a direct threat to AoE2 Region.

Support has been approved, expect several airborne divisions to be airlifted. Armored divisions will be arriving, along with naval battlegroups. MiG-31's, Su-34's, and Su-37's will be arriving to help with air defenses, along with mobile SAM launchers.

(Galdania you can expect large #'s of cruise missiles to be shoved down your throat, and you capital to be obliterated if you invade Volstik)

(OOC.: A long timr ago was agreed between Galdania and I that when we were RP, we will ignore Dork Error, aka the bisons, this does not mean that I will ignore -at least not right now- dark terror in all the RP, but only in the ones where Galdania is involved directly, so as far as I´m concerned, dark terror does not exist in the time frame of Galdania, this was done because he is a bad RPer, and we want to have fun, which is hard to obtain if a bad RPer irrupts, as dark terror)

I doubt Dark terror did that nation, he knows we could not care less about him in Galdanian issues, why wasting his time making another nation?

Whomever made that nation, was certainly a good move though, and gave and intersting surprise to you Galdania, because after all, I recall having read something very true: "RPs cannot be conducted as a threatre play, unexpected things happen and you cannot avoid it, and it is not illegal".
