Aircraft Project: Blitz

Zvarinograd

The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd has begun work on an ultra-agile fighter dubbed the Blitz. Built on the S-37 "Berkut" testbed, this forward swept wing aircraft trades in gun armour, weight and payload for the ability to completely out-run and out-manuever any and all threats. (interceptors, AA missles and the like.) However, development will take a considerable amount of time, money and effort as there as there are many experimental systems that will allow the Blitz that ability and still be practical for air force use. Development cost is estimated to be $40 billion, out of which, $14 billion is funded by the government and another $5 billion is funded by Freedom Country, $30 billion by Midwest Balka and $10 billion by Sarah Jablonski. The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd's researchers are now in the strict process of development as we are well-funded.

Simply tell me if there are problems with the possibility/impossibility of the project itself. Don't worry, I'm not that sensitive a developer.

The Dominion of Kotterdam will provide the remaining ten billion in exchange for production, modification, and export sales rights for the final product.

The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd appreciates your offer but, considering that this project has not yet even finished much less produce a profit, we can not allow those rights to be released yet. When we have a sufficient amount of these fighters and average (or considerable) profit from the development, we might allow rights to be distributed.

Freedom Country would love to help with this project.

We apologize for the rude interrogation but what form of help might this be and what are your conditions, if any?
04-10-2003, 11:27
We wish to help with the creation of the plane, and the marketing of it in the future.

We plan to share our great Aerospace industry with you for this fighter, donate ca$h and generally help the fighter be.

Excellent. In return, The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd will grant you a reasonable amount of AZ-SMF-01 fighters upon completion of the project. (The exact number of which, we will give you the authority to choose but take into account manufacturing and shipping times as well as the size of our country's workforce.) Our government would also like to establish a subsidy of 5% as well.

OOC:

In case you don't know, subsidies are discounts, only it applies to all products of the country.

Initial tests prove astonishing, the AZ-SMF-01 has been determined to have an advantage over the S-37 in both speed and manueverability. Further, the anti-G cockpit stopped pilot death from the extreme G forces involved. More details and updates to the draft coming soon.

We would help in this venture, but it is government policy to not deal with communist countries. The Duke sends his apologies, but we have had bad experiences with communists in the past that have rather soured us on good old Marx and Lenin.

Secondary tests for the aircraft are now being initiated. The United Socialist States of Zvarinograd's aim is to maximize the fighter's agility in a bid towards the world's fastest and most manueverable air superiority fighter. These tests will decide whether or not the AZ-SMF-01 "Blitz" can avoid all enemy threats.
