Attican Empire founds Simulation Corps

04-10-2003, 06:41
Due to the nature of how the Attican military works, senior Attican officials felt that it would be beneficial to create a Korps devoted to military simulations. The Korps will be no more than 60,000 men, and it will use only standard issue weapons.

This is the basic setup:

Simulationkorps

Total Setup:
60,000 Men
Equipment to be decided.

During simulations, follow this:

If simulating vs Gruppezwei

Gruppeeins:
30,000 Men
Half of equipment, can be chosen if rules allow

Gruppezwei:
30,000 Men
Half of equipment, can be chosen if rules allow

If simulating vs other Attican military Korps

Gruppeeins:
60,000 Men
All simulation equipment

Gruppezwei
60,000 Men (from the competing Korp, IE Reichsheer.)
Chosen equipment equivalent to that of Gruppeeins from that Korp (IE, a King Leopard)

If simulating against another nation (IE training)

Gruppeeins:
60,000 Men
All simulation equipment

Gruppezwei
60,000 Men (of opposing country, selective Korp)
Chosen equipment equivalent to that of Gruppeeins from that nation's Korp

If simulating against another nation (IE wargames)

Gruppeeins:
60,000 Men (selective Korps from Attica)
Equipment from that Korp

Gruppezwei:
60,000 Men (selective Korps from that nation)
Equpment equivalent to that of Gruppeeins.

A new high-tech wargame field is being constructed in the Attican desert. It will be terrainically modified to be able to simulate desert, jungle, coastal, swamp, etc, terrains. All weapons used on the field will be of painter origin (men and vehicles will be equipped with special sensors to calculate damage from a laser hit. A more advanced version of MOUT simulated weapons.)

Also, in other news, the Attican military plans to switch its primary firearm from the current sub-machine gun to an Assault Rifle.
