Freedom Country, long faced with war less years, irritated Military Brass and itchy troops, plans to invade it.

3rd Division, which is no longer recalled, is gettin ready.

The Dominion of Talkos would like to protest the proposed invasion by Freedom Country. That Eritrea is now exerting its independence as a new republic is to be praised, after years of being an occupied protectorate of Sniper Country, the Dominion believes that the Entrean people deserve a chance at self governance before being harshly occupied in a bloody overthrow of the organicly grown government that has appeared.

It seems that Eritrea is in a state of dismay, has no protection, andno ruling party.

We propose to give them one.

The propsed treaty between the United States of Independent Hitmen and Freedom country would not be valid if you started an action that would ultimately lead to your invasion if the United States did not agree with your reasons to attack said place. Here we dont.

While super powers fight it out over the fate of a nation, we wonder if the people of Eritrea have to say about this.

Ok boys, step aside. Xerloxian paratroopers are preparing to be dropped into Eritrea, while a large fleet takes up position off the African coast to rain missiles down on Eritrea.

We claimed South Africa and sent troops in back during the big rush to grab Earth nations. We claimed South Africa, Somalia, Djibouti, and Eritrea. The reason we claimed South Africa, is that Sniper Country was once a territory of the United States and South Africa. However, if you would like to have your nation there, we can compromise. [NOTE: This is the only thing we are going to do. We will NOT negotiate for Somalia or Djibouti. We are going to claim all land from the corner bottom tip of Nambia down diagonally to Port Elizabeth. We also are going to keep claim to Mt. Njesuthi. The major cities this leaves us with is Saldanha, Cape Town, Mossel Bay, and Port Elizabeth. You may have everything else, simply not Mt. Njesuthi. If this compromise does not work with you, sorry, this is what we are keeping. Again, note that this is the only time we are going to compromise on one of our already small RL nation claims.

Ok im not that bothered so ill say that im off the west coast of South Africa and you can keep it.

3rd World nations do, modern civilised nations such as FC and SC do not as a gneral rule invade just for the sake of territory. Imperialismis a thing of the past. Alsomy main point is that people assume the place they are invading will not fight back. This very rarely the case. Either people should only invad countries which exist as NS entites or they should ask someone else to RP it from the other side on the inavdees (that a word?) behalf.

Here, story:

At 20,000 feet, in a Il-76 Cargo Plane, Keith Philips said his hail Mary. He had always been Christian, but now more than ever. He sat among the buzzing of the planes turboprops , the clatter of metal, and the stamping of feet. 150 others were like him, loaded onto these planes, flying high over Mozambique. Hurriedly, he stuffed his cross down the inside of his kevlar vest, and got up.
The reason he was on the plane to him was unknown. Land, kill, hold. That was all he had been briefed. He was just doing his job. He scuttled over to his buddy, Sam Rogers.

“Yo Sam. You ready?”

“Hey, I was born ready. Just you and I be careful, okay.”

“Hey, you know what this is about?”

“No more than you. And stop thinking, It’ll kill you one day.” With that, the slipped down his goggles and grinned. Keith chuckled. Sam pulled rank over him, and was one of the more experienced in his ‘pack’. He also slipped on his goggles, and loaded his weapon. He looked at it, inquisitively. How such a small , basic thing could kill so many. He chambered a round, and faced his assigned door. The crew chief at the door yelled over to the guys.

“Yo you guys, get your asses over here, you got 1 minute.”

Keith scuttled over. He was 17th out, which was unfortunate for him. I would be hot when he hit the ground. He double checked his gear, and slipped on his SHUD Goggles. It was pitch black outside, as the rear cargo door and the side doors opened. He glanced around. He slipped out his cross. He kissed it, before slipping it away. The cargo bay got shrouded in green as lamps came on. The chiefs yelled, and the men before him jumped out into the black.

As they disappeared, he readied himself for the jump. He reached round to the back of his helmet, and switched his goggles on, and to Night Vision. A small HUD appeared on it, showing him where to go when he dived. The queue in front of him shortened, until the chief pushed him out.

The silence, in effect, deafened him. Quickly shrouded by clouds, his SHUD told him the way. He dived down, and didn’t open his parachute. He broke the clouds at 10,000 feet. It would be a nice day tomorrow, sunny, and hot. He wished he was at home, rather than some country round the other side of the globe. At 5,000 feet, after a long free fall, he opened his chute. He got drastically slowed, and saw the ground in detail. Parachutes below him glowed like beacons, greenish. The moon was crescent shaped, and shone like a light in the sky.

Men on the ground were gathering into groups. It looked like several IFV’s and APC’s had landed already. They were being split into platoons, like the men. He hit the ground on a rock, and rolled. He got caught in his chute, and rolled about wildly. He couldn’t see, and only heard the roar of vehicles, the crunch of footsteps and the distant roar of wind.

He eventually cut his chute with a knife, and freed himself. He took off the gear, and dragged it to the collection point. It looked like one man had broken his ankle falling, and was being treated. He was young, maybe 18. Elite, he thought. He was, some weren’t. He looked about 12, and was yelling. They hadn’t even started shooting yet. He couldn’t wait until they got moving.

The next day, they were due to receive extra reinforcements, in the form of 5 An-225’s loaded top to bottom with troops and tanks. Meanwhile, he trotted over to where his platoon was, and helped set up a small trench and a LMG. Many had been set up, in a perimeter.

Early in the morning, he was awoken b the sound of jeeps. He opened his eyes, after having his slot sleeping. There were 3, with .50 Calibre’s Machine Guns on the back. They were trundling across their sector. He grabbed his weapon, and dived for the LMG. He found the man on watch asleep. He pulled him off it, and manned it himself. He opened fire on the first, and killed all men on it.

The whole perimeter was awakened. Men jumped up, and some ran across the sand to their buddies. One jeep opened fire, only to be blown to pieces by a LAW fired by a Paratrooper. He continued to fire, and ended the 200 round belt. One of the IFV’s fired, its 30mm main gun making almighty cracks as it smashed the jeep to pieces.

Men scattered, and ran about, to their assigned trenches. Assault Rifles fired continuously. The jeeps were turned to wrecks. And this was only the start. A younger soldier, David Smidt jumped over to beside him, and set his SAW up on its bipod. He leaned over Keith’s shoulder, as he jammed a 100 round pouch magazine into the receiver.

“GODDAMN!!!! God DAMN!!!!!”

“Hey, I’m Christian. No lords names please. What’s wrong with swearing, eh?”
