This morning, shop workers were busy opening their stores in the Old Nashville Mall complex. Most of the mall stores had yet to open but the mall its'self was opened. There were the usual walkers who took advantage of the long mall to keep up their health. Several delivery crews were bringing their goods to the shops in the mall.
What happens next is only a scene of shock. Witnesses say that 12 individuals, both men and women, entered the west enterence of the mall. They looked like they were on their way to church. All the women had dresses. They fanned out in twos and walked about the mall. Suddenly, according to the survivors, a loud whistle was blown and the group pulled out AK-47 rifles and started mowing people down. Several women tossed hand gernades into numerous shops. Many people started fleeing out the fire escapes. However when they exited, there were more people waiting for them and those trying to escape were mowed down.
SOmeone was able to hit an disaster alarm and several squad cars from the Florence city Police force arrived. However 2 of the patrol cars went up in flames. Someone had a rocket launcher and had fired at them. The other police cars stopped and the officers jumped out. Then a rain of heavy machine gun fire hit the cars. The officers became pinned. The officers called for backup. One sharp shooter was able to hit one of the terrorist. The officer used his high powered rifle at long range to do so.
Chaos reigned inside the mall. By now 350 people had been massacred. At this point, the terrorist started taking out the security cameras. Fortunatly they did not find the security room. For it was across the street. More shootings rang out. Single shots. Probably from where the terrorist found survivors hiding from the gunmen.
The police's backup came in the form of two Hind helicopter gunships which ripped into the terrorist with heavy machine gun fire. Then several black hawk helicopters arrived and numerous commando teams from the Florence Army desended onto the mall's roof. Eyewitnesses said the two Helicopter Gunships circled at a very high distance. Twice someone fired a missile at them but the gunships fired flares which send the missiles away from them.
The Commandos got inside the mall and a massive shoot out occured. 3 commandos were killed and 17 injured. However all the terrorist were gunned down and killed.
Right now, there is an area of several city blocks that has been blocked by the army. CEO Walter Gates is also on the scene as well as the Corporate board of trustees for Florence. One officer told us that at least 500 civilians were gunned down by this terrorist attack. One of the corporate Trustees told us they found a note of responsiability.
The Note had one line, "Long live Branson-Hollister"
CEO Walter Gates has activated the Department of Homeland Defense. It will be their responsiability to see that this terrorist attack never happens again.
