The Developing Nation Aid Commission is happy to announce that the organisation has successfully committed itself to its first round to development aid. After intense deliberation and the formal write-up of a charter, the Commission was able to recieve proposals for developmental assistance and these were successfully passed by DNAC. Tanah Burung and Xikuang were the first recipients of aid from DNAC, and all reports suggest that this aid has been utilised successfully for the greater development of the nations. These success stories can be summarised by the leaders of both nations:
“No longer will we have to choose between power outages and environmentally destructive forms of energy generation,” said Silas Simparieff, people’s representative for the environment, who has spearheaded the move to alternative energy drawn from the forces of nature. “Wind power is only the beginning. Solar, biomass, co-generation -- all these are now becoming possible.”
"The DNAC promises to be a truly excellent initiative." says Xu Xian, Chair of the Elected General Council of Xikuang. "Not only does it offer a medium through which beneficiary signatories can offer aid to developing nations wherein the context makes it absolutely clear that it is humanitarian concerns, not colonial or in any other sense exploitative or reorganisational ones, that are being addressed, it allows both developed and developing nations to have a say into how the developed world can help to establish developing nations as viable economic entities and potential trade partners. We are as pleased to be involved in such a landmark venture as we are to see the developments that have been proceeding under DNAC initiatives in our own country."
