Is watching criminals be fed to Dire Wolves a sport? No? Then... I can't think of one. Maybe chess.

Good to see football in the lead.

If basketball is there, why not netball?
02-10-2003, 12:06
Football, of course. :D

Although I thought you English people call it soccer...
Anyway, what the heck is "netball"? Sounds like Volleyball...?

Edit:damn double post! And netball is vaguely smiliar to basket ball, but is generally the preserve of girls and women. Walmingtonians aren't bad at that- we think. No internationals except with the dominions, and Mauritania never puts up much of a fight.

Eh? Colonials might call it soccer to distinguish it from games played with..hands, oddly enough, but in England it's most certainly football.

Walmington hasn't a single national sport; we're trying to figure out which of cricket, either rugby disciplin, football (yeah, soccer), and er, crown green bowls we are best at.

Damn Germans keep calling away all of our best players though (except in the case of bowls, being as most of the players are more than old enough to miss the draft).

That's our kind of sport! Mind you, walrus sumo is our national sport while cannon jousting is a popular amusement ride.

Nope, football it is.

Stupid foreigners call it soccer. Football is the only name that should be given to that greatest of sports. Our nation loves its football , but we also love our boxing and streetfighting.

While not only being a popular sport in the nation, our landsmen are naturally suited to this particular all-round challenge. The national team sport in the African Commonwealth is regular football, better known as soccer.

The national sport here would be Mei Dai, a variant of Muy Thai boxing. However, the national team sports are ice hockey, field hockey (mostly due to our results in the NS field hockey, IRL I have no interest), and bridge (again due to the results in the NS winter games - Gold Medal WOOt! although I have no interest IRL).
