As the Armored Falcon ran silently through the ocean, its caterpillar propulsion system not making a single sound, the only noise comin from the sub was the quiet hum of the Bladiean national amthem going through the speakers of someones earphones.

Capitan! we have picked somthing up on sonar!

What is it?

looks like a whale, nothing serious....

ok, well lets not make such a commotion over a sea mammal again okay?

yes sir!

now try and get some rest, ill send the night shift to come and fill your position..

Yes Sir!

The sub went back to its quiet coasting and continued on its way.

OOC: I want this to be a Hunt for Red October type RP. nothing serious, whatever happens in this RP stays in this RP.

Extremely Nice Sub, can I participate in this RP?

OCC: If so, am I limited to one ship, or can I use a battlefleet?

Also I am wondering if that sub is for sale?

To the south of the Armored Falcon was the Catfish Skirmish Ship the BRS Syringe with 2 Catfish Gunboats, The BRS Flame and the BRS Schooner.

In the Bridge of the Syringe, the radar operator had noticed the 'thing'.

"Sir," he said to the Leiutenant, "There is an unidentified submered object on the port bow approximatly 10 km away"
"well?" asked the leiuteneant
"I fear it may be hostile sir"
"then keep away from it, inform me if it does anything which may be hostile"
"aye-aye Sir"

Similar conversations went on throughout the small squadron about the unidentified object

The MNV Hazna was returning from patrol in the open sea. She was an Akula II Fast Attack Sub designed to be the agressor. Captain Jeffery Hunt was in the sonar room, they were getting something unussal on sonar.

"I'm not sure captain, one second it sounds like a 668, then the next a whale." the Sonarman said.

"Log-it and keep track of it. We can figure out more once we get home. Make sure that you also keep track of those Lapse ships 12 km east of us. We don't need to be starting a war out here."

"Yes sir."

OCC:
Red October is the name of a Russian Submarine with catapillar
propulsion, which is extremely quite when operating. This submarine
is in a movie called: The Hunt for Red October."

Ten miles NE of the Armored Falcon steams two V.I. Taruntul V
Class Fast Attack Boats, the V.I.S. Viglance and Provocateur.

On the bridge of the Viglance, first the sonar tech then the
radar operator reports:

"Captain I have multiple sonar contacts! One is ten miles SW of
us, sounds like a pod of whales. The second however is 20 miles S / SW
of us, it's definately an Akula II Fast Attack Sub."

"Captain I have multiple surface contacts as well, twenty miles SE
of us, two Catfish Class Gunboats."

"Nice work Lts., both of you keep an eye on the contacts, inform me immediately of any changes in their status."

"Aye, Aye Sir" replied the two Lt's

" XO, sound General Quarters just in case, I don't want to be
caught with our pants down! Also give Provocateur a heads up in case
they haven't already picked them up.

"Aye, Aye Skipper" "General Quarters, General Quarters, the ship is
now on General Quarters, all crew members to their assigned posts."

" Captain Provocateur reports she has them on her screens as well,
& are at GQ Status." reports the communication officer.

" Out Standing, steady as she go's helm" replies the Captain.

" Steady as she go's, Aye Captain" replies the helm officer

"Sir, a nuclear sub is missing."

"Damn waterlivers."

"Yes, sir."

((Since all Roanians suffer a sharp allergic reaction to seawater, this is about all they'll do.))

On the bridge of the syringe:

"Sir," one of the sonar/radar operators on the bridge

"Yes" replied the captain

"this water seems to be teeming with life. Our sources indicate there are many types of craft of many origins out there."

"Anyone we know?"

"I cant tell Sir". They are all basic models not individual to any particular country"

"Damn!!, The Syringe will submerge. Order the two Catfish gunboats to stay above us. We shall watch the submarines in this area. Order the Gunboats captains to report to us in any case of emergency"

The Syringe Submerges 200m below surface whilst the gunboats move into formation above

The conversation continued

The captain said to the radio operator "try to contact the Akula Attack ship"
"Unidentified Akula II Fast attack ship, please state your origon and purposes"
the radio operator repeated this 3 times and waited for a reply

Ten miles West of the Armed Falcon the UKS KingFish, a Sea Shadow
Assault Ship closely monitors all contacts. With the advantage of superior
surface stealth technology, she watches to see what if anything will
happen.

" Exec go to GQ, ready all weapons, turn due south, kick it up to flank
I want to circle around those ships."
" Aye, Aye Captain"
" Comm. Off. send details of our discovery to command via satcom."
"Aye, Captain!"
