Vice President Assassinated
Alpena, Federation of North Arkansas.
(APW) While dedicating a new Playground for the Alpena Grade School, Vice President Robert Thomas Marshall was shot to death by unknown snipers. Several children, and adults who were on the platform were killed as well.
President Kronos has declared today, October 1, to be a day of mourning.
The Federation Bureau of Investigation continues hunting for the assissins.

A letter had been taped to a back door at the Fort Smith Daily Planet. The Note claims the Branson Separatist as being responsiable for the death of the Vice President.
The President is meeting with the Federation Council now, we will get you news of this meeting as it develops.

We have suffered a great loss with the death of Vice President Marshall. Now to hear some terrorist killed him boils my blood. We will catch the person who did this and bring them to trial. It shall be done!!!
I have ordered elements of our Special Ops troops into the Branson area. They will work with local law enforcement to catch these evildoers.
The Local population in Branson does not like these terrorist. They have been extremely supportful.
These terrorist are running out of gas. Soon, they will be behind bars. Until then, I am declaring a limited state of emergency, to assist our law enforcement in catching every one of these so-called separatist.

The Federation President has ordered the 122nd Armored group and the 399th Military Police group into the regions encircleing the Branson area.
