President Allenson stands looking at the newly constructed Security Building located in the new Tappee Capital of Tarsonis. It had been few only months since the destruction of the old capital of Carpel at the hands of the terrorist group Iaceo. Since then Allenson had lost many friends, and made a few more. but now was not the time to think about the past, since the election his postion as president was not confirmed, and it was time to heal the countries wounds. One of his guards came up beside him.

"Sir, it almost ten o'clock, the Tribunal is waiting for you."

"Very well I should not keep them waiting"

Allenson and his security detail made their way into the lobby. Allenson took note of the large security force that was present in the room.
so this is a sign of the new time that we live in. How have things changed Allenson thought to himself.

Several security check points laters, Allenson was guided into the Council room. Allensons guards waited outside as the door locked and closed behind him. In front of Allensons stood the Intellegance Tribunal, nine members that all sat at a huge oak table. The table was horse shoe shape in design. Allenson took his seat that was located in the center of the horse shoe.

It seemed order for him to take this position. He was accustomed to sit on the other side the table, since he was at one time the head of the Tribunal. It was customary for the President of Tappee to meet the Tribunal once a day. But since the Tribunal held the real power in the country the president went to see them, not the other way around.

"so what do you have for me?" his words end the silience that had exsisted in the room prior.

Ron Albertsom who had taken over from Allenson head of the Tribunal spoke up. Here are the latest satillite photo's that where taken above Iaceo.

On the wall to the right of Allenson a series of Images appeared.

"And what of Latito" Asked Allenson.

"Latito fate is still unknown at this time" was Albertsom responce. "There has also been another attack in Treznor, all the information is in the folder before you."

Allenson grabs the folder and looks it over.

"Was Iaceo behind this attack?"

"We are not sure we're looking into that as we speak"

"Allenson the Tribunal would adivise that the the First Carrier divison as well as the 3rd and 4th destroyer divison join our force off the cost of Iaceo to aid in the attack."

"I can spare only the 4th"

"Allenson maybe you have mistaken the Tribunal on this matter, this was not a request!" barked Albertsom

"No Ron it is you who is mistaken, as president it is my responsiblity to uphold our government commitment that we have made to other countries. If we pull our forces out the Gouldland we very well may put them at risk. I am not will to step away from our allies, and the commitments we have made. I will give the order to relocate the 4th, I will also move is the 2nd mech to begin a ground search for Latito. Now with the Triunal permission I would ask the 1st X be dispatched to begin operations in Iaceo. I also want to know who attacked Treznor, they helped when we needed it the most, now it is our turn to return the favor. Now if you we excuse me I have more pressing matter to attened too."

Allenson stands up and makes his way for the

Albertsom smashes his fist on the desk "Allenson we are not done with you yet!"

Allenson turns and faces Albertsom "We are at war with Iaceo, a war that we are not winning and have not for years. They have used our traditions against from the begininng. Things must now change. From here on in I am the one calling the shots. You just give me the information that I need. I will talk to you later. I am going to win this war"

Allenson turns and leaves the room.

"Sir we are taking massive losses across the board sir. Their hitting us from all sides, and hitting us hard. At last count there was at least thirty ship off the coast. What you you have us do?"

Though the commander cannont see Latito in the shadows he knows that Latito is hidden some where in them.

"Damn Barthmall has messed everything up" said a voice from the shadows

"I know sir, but what would you like us to do"

"Commander I grow tired of your incompetence" a gun shots come out of the darkness killing the commander where he stands.

"Now Jade here is your opertunity to take Command, if you want, tell me what your predessor could not"

Jade stands forward into the light

"Sir we should pull our force more inland, this would limit the amount of artillary that they now have avaible. We should try to draw their force into the jungle where we would have much better results with a smaller force. We will use the jungle to our advantage, and slaughter them like the dogs that they are"

"Very good, COMMANDER Jade. Begin ASAP

"Yes sir, you will is my command"

Allenson stands in the lobby waitting for his security team to clear the way to the limo.

He takes a moment to reflect on the events that had just occured in the Tribunal room. Was it wise of him to against them, to his knowledge not since the formation of Tappee had anyone ever went against the will of the Tribunal. When he was chair he knew the he would not tolerate the type of action that he had just done in that room.

The Tribunal power was absolute, and unquestioned. He was taking a serious risk that may cost him his life. But if Tappee was going to win this war the old Traditions would have to chance.

"Sir, everything is now clear. Time to make your way the limo" The guards words had interupted Allenson thoughs.

Under tight security Allenson made his way to the car. It was long before the motorcade was on its way to the presidential palace.

"Sir, would you like something to drink" asked one of his assistants.

"No, get me Commander Anerton on a secure line. ASAP"

if he was going to defy the Tribunal he was going the need allies

Slam goes the door as Allenson make his way out of the Tribunals Chamber.

Albertsom leans back in his chair for a moment

"As a former Tribunal chair Allenson should realize that we will not tolerate that type of action. It goes against every thing that this insitution has stood for the past 560 years. If he continues to defy the Tribunal I will put forwards a motion to have him illiminated. This simply can not be tolerated. I say we put it to a vote now."

Albertsom looks to the other members of the room to study there response. But one individual who draws most of his attention is the deputy chair, Susan Clrackson.

Clrackson take a moment as if to collect her thoughts. "Allenson has a point. Iaceo has used our tradition against from the get go. We have glung to our beliefs and what have we to show for it. A intellegence network that time and time again has been corupted be Iaceo, thousands dead. Our former capitial in ruins. Allenson is only saying what others will not now is time for chance, it we don't then all may be lost. my vote is to allow Allenson for now the power to do what ever he feels is need in protecting Tappee and it's interests abroad."

Albertsom take a drink of water from the glass sitting in front of him

"Well Clrackson let see what the other have to think? Barmo whats your vote?"

"I'm with Clrackson on this"

"ok, Garf?"

"Allenson has point"

"Righ, how about you Farfield?"

"We must stick to the old tradions"

"I agree Tom, what do you think Holdsom"

"By following the old ways we have got nowhere, time for a new apporch. Allenson has my support."

"I see, as it stands it 4 Vs 4. Yellson you get to decide Allenson fate. So what will it be?"

"Give Allenson the time to do what he needs to do, so for the time being we give Allenson whetever he asks for."

Clrackson let out a visible sigh of relief. "There you Albertson 5 to 4 that we allow Allenson the power to do what he need."

"This isn't over Clrackson hope you enjoy your little victory while last. This meeting is now over."

"Sir thing has been preped and is ready to go, I such that we get moving. We need to to get you to a secure location."

"Commander Jade, I have some to ask of you before I leave this place

"as I said your will is my Commander"

"I have a special project for you. I want you to put together a Spec Op team. Use only people that you trust.

"Yes sir what will their mission be"

A cold icy hand reaches out from behind the shaodws giving Commander Jade the file. She open the file and reads through it.

"you realize what you asking me to do"

"I did not ask for you opinion, now see that it is done. If you are incompetent I will just assign it to some who can!"

Jade takes a step back in fear, she does not know what will happen next.

"No sir, I did not mean to question. I shall get started right away."

"Very well Commander, now leave me"

"Commander Anerton I have the President on line one he wants to talk to you, should I put him through?"

"Thanks Jenny, I take it in here"

"But sir our orders are..."

Anerton reaches for the reciever

"Hello"

"Hello Anerton, it's Allenson. I need your help with something"

"You need my help with the tribunal don't you. You cause a huge hail storm with that little stunt you pulled with the Tribunal today"

"I take you heard, have you"

"Yeah Albertsom called he's got his panties tied up in a knot. I'm taking a risk even talking to you. albertsom ordered that we cut all contact with you. Don't forget the the 1st X is still under their command."

"I know. but we both know that if we are going to win this war thing must change."

"Your right but what can we do?"

"I want you to put together a team to go after Latito. use only people you trust. and try to do it with out the Tribunal knowing. Will you help me on this?"

"Alright I'll see what I can do"

Anerton sit backk in his chair. This should prove to be intresting he thought to himself, he could only hope that this didn't turn out to be like to COT conflict.

The ground rumble as another artillery shell lands near their postion. For over three day now the enemy had been punishing them from their ships off the coast.

the General could hear one of his subornates coming up the stair to the observatio post.

"sir we just recieved new orders from command"

"and what news do they have for us today?"

"They ordered a full retreat of our forces into the jungle, they decideed that we would have the best chance fighting a jungle war."

"THEY WANT US TO HIDE" Barked the General

"they feel that a jungle war would best utillize our small numbers against a larger oponent. Might I remind the General what the penalty for disobidence is."

The General turn to see his officer pointing a gun at him.

"You are a good officer, you know that right. Iacoe himself shall hear of your loyality. Give the order to evac. Rig the base with explosives so if the enemy should find it they'll sorry."

the officer holster his weapon

"Sorry to doubt you sir, it shall be done"

The General turn his attention to the scene before him. At in the jungle we can can fight them man to man. He thought to himself

Admiral Dodalla watches what seems to be an endless barage of artillery from the bridge of the Tappee flagship Dauntless. She was begining to wonder how effective this tactic would be in the ends. Her though however where interupted by her petty officer.

"Admiral we've just recieved this intel from the Tribunal"

He hands her a file with a number of photos in it.

"It would seem Admiral that the enemy is moving inland to avoid our gun fire. The president has ordered the 4th battle as well as 2nd mech to be deployed as support. The president wants us to create an area of operation in Iaceo so that we could support larger operation in the area"

Admiral Dodalla hands the folder over ot the petty officer

"The president does not have the authority to give us those type of orders petty officer. All tactical decision are made be the Tribunal."

The petty officer shifts his weight around uneasily

"Um Admiral... It would appear that the president has bipassed the authority of the Tribunal"

"WHAT!"

"As it stands now the Tribunal is allowing Allenson to do whatever he feels is needed. for the moment the President is now in charge of the military"

"Ok get me Rear Admiral Sparks on the phones ASAP"

"Excuse me sir but the joint Chiefs are here and would like to talk to you sir"

Allenson takes a moment and looks up from his paper work.

"Very well Jean send them in"

momnet later the room is filled with with the highest rank memeber of each of Tappee's military division.

Admiral Tompson of the second Carrier division is the first to speak up

"I just got off the phone with my second in command, it would seem the she is more up todate then then the rest of us. According to her it appear that you are know in command, not the Tribunal. Is this true?"

Allenson looks Tompson in the eye

"It is true, the Tribunal has granted me the power for now to make all tatical decision, which from here on in means that all decision will be ran thought me."

Tompson takes a moment and looks at the other members in the room for a moment

"Good, I know that i'm speaking for everyone here in that we believe that the is the needed course of action. We can't have every decision debate by the Tribunal. We need one person willing to make the tough call. We think your it for now. you'll have full support of the Joint Chiefs."

Allenson looks very relieaved in hearing the Admirals statement.

"Good, so what is our situation in Iaceo"

Now its time for General Williams to talk

"They've taken a real betting, from the latest sat photos they apear to be heading for the jungle. thus elminating both our artillary as well as our sat visuals."

Allensons thinks for a moment. "We will have a tough time fighting them in the Jungle can we set up a perimeter and keep them contain in the jungle cut off their supplys. ware them down untill they come out and fight us in open ground"

"No sir, I'm affraid that is not a possiblity since there would be to much ground to cover."

"Can we stop them from getting into the Jungle"

"Affraid not, we don't have a base of operations yet, and not enough ground on the ground"

"Ok this is what I want done, contact Admiral Sparks on the Ithica give him the following order. I want napam attack luanched against the nearest point in the jungle to the Iaceo forces. with any luck we may catch a few of them in the jungle and perhaps the jungle burning will slow their entery. As well I our the 3rd and 5th Mech holding beach properity by tommorow morning. We use the land to establish a foot for operation in Iaceo."

"Yes sir"

"I want update tommorow at 07:00, you are all dismissed"

We interupt you regular schedualed program for a news break

The T.V screen change to show a single male sitting in front of a news desk.

New brodcaster:
"We now take you live John Gibbision who is our news Rep aboard the carrier Ithica. John can you tells all whats going on over there"

The scen change to John who is stand near the Ithica's flight deck. Fighter plane after fighter plane is taking off

John: "As you can see from the activites going behind me that some importand is going on here. In the last 15 min apporixmity 13 fighters have been launch from the Ithica deck, even more are line up. In addition the gun which for the little have been quiet have started up again."

The camera turns showing the night sky being lite by the cannon fire.

New Broadcaster: "John does this mean that the ground war with Iaceo has finally started our is this another night of shock and awe"

John: "Spoken with members of the crew and they've had little to tell, but their on Red status, haven't seen this much activity since the begining of the conflict which would indicate that some more is going on at the moment."

News Broadcaster: "I'm sorry to interupt John but we've just recieved word the General Hapsen is going to make a state within the hour in regards to the recent activities"

It had been hour since the shelling had stoped but Jonhans knew that it was only the calm before the storm. His detachment was one of the few that where left behind to slow the enemy when they came. It was a death sentance and Jonhans knew. but nothing would make him happy but to take as many with him as he could. and then thats when it happened the artillary began to fall around them. He watched as a bunker to his left burst in to flame. Those how had survied the inital impact where now on fire from the munition create that had exploded. However the attack last for only 10 minutes. This could only mean one thing. Out of the corner of his eye out on the ocean he could see them coming.

"Sound the alarm we've got incoming"

Those gun implacement that survived the shelling began open fire on the landind craft as they approched.

Camera flash as General Hapsen take the podium

"I don't have much time so I will be brief, and there may be some time for some questions. At appoxmitly 20:36 Tappee force began operation Adeptus in order to gain a foot hold in Iaceo teritory, This move means that we will be ending the Shock an awe staridgy that we have been using up to this point. Now I'll open myself up too some questions"

Reporter: "Was the operation successful"

"At this moment in time we can not speak about the status of the mission"

Reporter:"There have been rumors from a number of military sources that it was president Allenson that order the attack. If where where true that would be a direct violation of the Tribunal authority"

"I can neither confirm nor deny those rumors. I am not the president or a member of the Tribunal"

Reporter:"Can you tell us who can then"

"There are only two people that can, President Allenson or Tribunal Chair Albertsom. I have time for one more question"

Reporter:"If Allenson is taken over the authority which side will the military choose'

"I have no more time thank you good evening you will be contact when we decide to have another pess confrence"

No one had any idea what time it was or how long the fighting on the beach had been going on for, but one thing that the lieutenant knew was that it wasn't long until Tappee's forces would over run their position. Thety had superior numbers as well as air support from their carriers of the coast. The had little change. the Lieutenant watch helplessy as each of the remaining gun emplacement burt in to flames. The water was begining to turn red from all the blood that was begining to fill it. A number of transport floated lifless out on the open ocean.

Boom yet another gun implacement went up in flames. he could see the Tappee radio operators calling in thier position to the waiting fleet.

"Thats it, every body grab our guns where going to fight these sons of B#tches hand to hand, try to take as many with us as we can."

He wondered how many of his men would follow the order, but soon got his answer.

Many died as soon as they lept over the wall those that didn't suffered death at the hands of Tappee's blads. Soon the flurry of combat that had engulft the beach end in silience.

Sergeant kneels near the body of a close personal friend the fight on the beach has end, it know time to tend to the wounded.

"Medic, I need a Medic over here."

The army medics swarm the beach but there are far to many wound for them to deal with.

the Sergent watch in horror as his compainion slips away from him. There was nothing that he could do. He lower his head for a moment of silience. However the moment is abruptly end When one of his men taps him on the shoulder.

"Sir area secure, the Lieutenant is dead your in charge, what your orders"

"Radio HQ tell them that we've taken the beach and to send in Med Vac team ASAP"

"Yes sir"

They had been on the road for hour. there wern't enought transports for all the men so Phobo's and his convoy where moving at a walking pace, their order wher to to provide mechanized support ot the men the where walk along side them. The had just reach the edge on the jungle. The jungle was a welcome sight for him and his men, it would provide cover for the time being.

Phobo was begining to relax when he heard a faint sound in the distance.
something was moving toward them at a high rate of speed. Then that when it happen the jungle burst in to flames all around as men where blown the their feet.

Phobo wasn't sure if it was the blast from the napam are the sonic boom from the figt jet, but they where in trouble.

"Get as many as you can into the transport"

It didn't take long for the fire to spead. He could hear another strick taking place somewhere in the distance. The enemy wasn't try to hit their postion they where simply trying to burn down the jungle. This would slow them down, but they would pass forword.

Admiral Dodalla watched from the bridge as the fleet broke formation. She had given the order for the fleet to move close towards the main land inorder for the fleet to provide cover for the ground force that were now landing. Things where going well, for the moment.

"Admiral Dodalla"

"Yes Ensign"

"We've got a unschedualed flight inbound"

"One of ours"

"Yes Ma'am they're requestion permi ssion land ASAP"

"Who is it"

"Commander Anerton from the 1st X ma'am"

"Did he say why he was here?"

"No Ma'am"

"Very well. clear the landind pad, and give them authorization to Land"

I wonder why he's here. No one told me that he was coming. I wonder what this could mean she thought to her self.

Admiral Dodalla stood near the edge on the landing deck as the helicopter made is final approch. with in second the special forces team that was aboard was clear and the helicopter in the air once again

Jeff Anerton who she assumes is the commading officer of the team come over to her.

"So Jeff I take it that is a busisness visit"

Anerton let out a bit of a chuckle

"What now I need an excuse to see my big sister"

Dodalle glares at Anerton

"You do when she's commanding a battle fleet in the middle of a war zone!"

"your rigth, we need to talk, Alone!"

"Very well follow"

Anerton follows his sister through a series corridors untill they reach her office

"Its rather small, but I guess that how you like, that why you married Gerold" Anerton is allowed only a momnet of laughter

"Shut Up! and close door behind you." Anerton closes the door "I can assure the Gerold is well perportioned. Now did you come half way across the world just to mock my choice of husbands, or was there something else."

"You know you lost your sense of humor when mom and dad died" his words cause an ackward silience between the two."Sorry. I'm here cause I'm heading up a special team to go in after Latitio"

"Does the Tribunal now of this or are you going behind their back on this one.?"

"Allenson calling the shoot on his one the Tribunal has no idea, and I would like to keep it that way."

"You know Jeff it's going to be hard to keep it a secret"

"That why I'm here here who better to look after my back the my sister. we need to use the Dauntless as a base of opoeration, but we need to keep if low profile."

"Alright, the Dauntless is at your disposal. Only cause its you"

All one can is hear is foot steps moving throught the shadows. It is not long before the walking stops and a light is truned on. The expsose a single Female appromitly 24 years of age.

a voice from the shadow speaks out from behind it's vaile

"What new do you have for me Commander Jade?"

Commander Jade gathers her thoughts

"Sir as suspected Tappee began land ground force in sector 7 through 12. Green Company held their postion for 74 min before being over run. All our forces have been moved in to the jungle. Tappee luanched napam attacks to various position in an attempt to slow us down. but know everyone is where they need to be sir"

"Green Company you said. You where their Commanding officer before you joined me here, where you not?"

"Yes sir I was"

"They fought well even better then I would have expected, you train them well. I am most pleased with your performance to date Commander. What is the status off our pet project.?"

"Phase one and two have been complete sir, request permission to move to phase three?"

"Three day ahead of schedual, agian most impresive commander. However the time is not righth to move to 3 yet. prepare our forces for the coming ground war. You are know dismissed"

"Yes sir you will is my command"

The words on the page where to blend together. Allenson had been looking over report and government document for what seemed to hours. He woundered if his was how he was going to spend the rest of days. He grabed another report an began to look it over, but was quickly intreuped by knock on his door.

"Come in"

"Evening Allenson, looks like you've had a rough day"

Allenson looks up to see a kind a familiar face, something that he missed in the past few days. the woman standing before hi is Deputy chair to the Tribunal, and an old friend of Allenson, Susan Clrackson.

"Susan, your sight for sore eyes, What do I owe the pleasure."

Clrackson chuckles to her self for a moment "Just thought I'd come by and see how you like your new job" she walks over and sits on top of the desk "So how you like so far?"

Allenson leans back in his chair looking Susan in the eyes "You seen what happen with the Tribunal" The memory of that confrentation still fresk in his mind

"Don't worry about the Tribunal, I can handel them" There was a softness in her voice that brought conformt to him.

"I can ask you something Susan"

"Sure"

"You ever think about the two us just leaving this all behind and just going away some where?"

Susan didn't seem surprise to hear Allenson say thos words

"We had this conversation before, but we both know right now we are needed for the country if nothing else. You should head home, don't forget the meeting tomorrow."

Allenson lets out a sigh "Your right I'll talk to you later then, but I've got to finish reading through some things first"

Dallas nervously looked torward, he knew what had to be done, but was unsure if he could actually do what was required of him. He closes his eyes and tkae a deep breath, it would seem that he's been preparing for this moment for all of his life. sitting behind Dallas is over a thousand pounds of explosives, enough he know to more then kill him instantly. It had taken him almost a week to prep the van for this mission. He finally open his eyes, his fate is now clear in his mind. he starts up the van and begins to move on his way.

Half hour later he turn a sharp right corner and then see's it before him, his target. Sitting before him is a Tappee military base, one of many in the area. He slam on the accelerator, causing the van to speed toward the gate.

It's not long before the guards realize what is happing. Dallas duck under the dash to avoid the hail of bullet entering through the windshield. Moments later it's all over.

Ring, Ring, Ring

Allenson rolls over and turn the light on, he the procceds to grab the phone located on the nightstand beside his bed.

"Umm... This better be importand, it's 3 am"

"Yes sir I can assure you it is" said the voice on the other side of the line

"Ok what is it"

"Sir there was been an attack against one of our military bases"

"Given the situation with Iacoe that was not unexpected.."

"sir it was that there was an attack it was the location of the attack"

"What was it here in Tappee?"

"No sir, it was firebase Griffon. One of our outpost located in the Gouldland

This new information cause Allenson to wake up real fast. He knew what the implication could be, not just for Tappee, but for others as well.

"Assemble the Tribunal as well as the joint chiefs for an emergance meeting ASAP. As well have a situation report ready for me in 20 min"

"Yes sir"

"Commander Jade I have just recieved word operitive Griffon..."

"What did Griffon file a report." intperupted Jade

The sergent was caught off guard by her tone of voice, he was wondeing if he had in some way offended the Commander. Even though Commander Jade was young she had move up the rank rather quickly. In doing so had earned a bit of a reputation

"Umm yes Ma'am here they are"

He hand her the reports and takes a few step back so that he's no longer within stricking distance. Commander Jade studies the report for a moment.

"Good I shall report this to Iaceo immeaditly"

"sir area secure if you'll please procced to the limo sir"

Allenson and his security quickly made the way to the limo. Even the presidental palace was not considered afe at thhis time. Allenson soon found his way to his, but was caught by suprise to see that someelse was sitting in the seat across from him.

"Genral William I'm a bit suprised to see you here, I wasn't going to meet with and the other untill after I meet with the Tribunal."

"the joint Chiefs have decide to give you full support against the Tribunal on this so I'm here to give the heads up before you see the Tribunal"

"Thanks, what have you got for me"

General Williams reaches in to his breif case and pull out a file. "Might I remind that you have not seen this this". After seeing Allenson node his head he hands the file over to him. Allenson take a moment to read over the file.

"How many?" Was Allenson first question.

"236 killed, 438 wounded all ours. Wnet we set up the base we kept it away from the local population in case anything this where to happen."

"Was it Iaceo, or a retialition for Hatch?" was the second

"We're not sure at this point in time, no one has claimed responsibilty. Anyways this is where i get off, I don't think that we should be seen togethter, the Tribunal would not be pleased"

"Thanks Williams"

The door closes Allenson is yet again standing before the Tribunal

"Please Allenson have a seat, we all know why we are here." says Ablertsom Chair of the Tribunal

Allenson makes his way to the middle of the room, and takes his place at the presidential chair before the Tribunal.

Allenson was quiclky growing tiered of Albertsom attitude towards him. the two men had never been on good terms with each other. Allenson was worried the Albertsom was using his authority to punish him. However, Allenson wasn't about to let him get the upper hand in this situation. He quickly cut to the chase avoiding all the formality invoved with deal with the Tribunal.

"Do we know who attacked us"

"Iaceo" was Albertsom responce

"Now do you have proof or do you only assume" Allenson gave Albertson a bit of a smirk "Cause it was my understand that at this moment it time that no one has claimed responsiblity?. There are other that would gain from an attacking us."

Allenson could see the anger coming over Albertsom face. Allenson had caught him in a lie in front of the entire Tribunal.

"You DARE question the word of the Tribunal!" Barked Albertsom

"That is enough" inpruted Clrackson "I've had enough of these pissing contest between you two. There are more importand issue's hand right. Like what we are going to to do in Iaceo?"

Allenson was glad for Clrackson save thing where about to get real ugly real fast. "Now that weve know where the Iaceo forces are and we have an area of operation I'm going to order our forces into the jungle to begin illminating them one by one"

Albertsom ruffles his paper on his desk to give a clear visual signal to every one that he most displeased. "I'm sorry that is not possible Allenson"

A bewildered look come over Allenson face"Excuse me we've got them right where we want them"

Albertsom lets out a chuckle "By a vote of 7-2 the Tribunal had decide that our force or going to form a permeter around the jungle, We will contain them nothing more. fur more..."

His words are ended when Allenson slams his fist on the desk. "a number of times since the begining of the conflict we had an oppertunity for the kill shot, but the Tribunal was unwilling to sacrafice any more live, as a result many more have been killed, the fighting has spilled over into other countries, where more have been hurt" There was passion in his words, and fire in his eye's "Non of you here have sat next to a forgien leader and watched a school go up in flames. How many more must died before you realize that the policy of containment does not work against these type of people." His voice had moved from one of passion to anger.

now it was Albertsom turn "It is the will of the tribunal not to lose anymore of our people. As for other, what they do with Iaceo is their concern. We have decide that your run of power is now over."

Allenson face was now the one of anger "But how can..."

His words where quickly end before they could start "The Tribunal can and is. We are in control and this conversatio is over."

"I now see what Spring once saw before" replied Allenson

"Was that a threat" asked Albertsom "Leave the room now and we may forget what you just said."

Allenson stands and leaves

"Commander Jade why is it that you have interupted me, I was rather busy."

"Sorry sir" She din'y know why she was apologizing there was no way she could have know that Latitio was busy, since Latitio was alway covered in darkness. It was probably cause she fear for her life if she where to ever upset her boss.

"Here's the report fron Griffon, you had said you wanted it as soon as it came in. So here it is"

A pale hand emerges from the darkness.

"Thank you Commander that will be all"

She wondered what was in that report. most of it was coded she she had no idea what was in. She was begining to wonder it Latitio trusted her.

"Sir with the upmost respect i was wondering if I could ask you a question?"

"You want to know why I haven't brought you in on this"

"Yes sir?"

"Very well Commander, never keep all your eggs in one basket. If you where to be caught and you knew all our operations then we'd have a problem. don'y worry you get all the important operations anyways. I'm glad you asked. many would not have in fear of death. To know that someone is not afraid of you is refreshing once and awhile. But Commander ner question me agian, understood"

The Commander bows her head "Yes sir"

Allenson quickly makes his way past the security chack point in the main lobby. iit's not long before he almost to the door with one his security agent running behind yelling at him the aread not secure.

"Screw it their going to kill me let them come, get your people together."

As soon as he moves through the door he realizes his error. The press must have hear the news about attack, and with the questions of the press confrence the previous night about who in charge, the press had gathered outside the Tribunal. now there was nothing that stood between him and the army of reporter. The media wasted to time in taken advantage of this oppertunity. despite the best efforts of his security to get in the ways Allenson had a hundred mics in his face, and many more question yelled toward him. But instead of falling back into the building Allenson realized and opertunity.

"Enough" Yelled out. The reporter where taken back by his actions and moved a step back, the crowed went silient. "I'm sure that you have many questions for me and will try to adress as many of as I can." Allenson stoped for a moment to judge the crowds reaction. they where still silient. He took a deep breath.

"As you are aware Tappee military force yesterday began their ground campain against Iaceo Force. And Yes I was the one the ordered the operation not the Tribunal. We suffered minimal losses in this operation due the the success of our shock and Awe. However, the remaininf Iaceo force retreated in to the jungle inorder to avoid our artilliery, and to engage our forces in guerillia style tactics. At the begining the Tribunal authorized me control over our military forces, but as of 15 min ago that power has been revoked, and they are now in charge again. They feel that ingaging Iaceo will result in too many losses. They choose instead to try to contain Iaceo in the jungle using our military. But in my opion the jungle permeter is too large even for our forces, and some Iaceo agetn may escape to attack Tappee or other nation. This is a risk that I am not willing to take. That is why that right now I'm overstepping my authority and asking the joint cheif to move military command away from the Tribunal, over to me. No matter what it takes we are going to end this now. That is all for now, there will be a press confrence at 12:00 pm today for futher question"

by this time Allensons security team had cleared a path to his limo. With guards on all side of him Allenson made his way to the limo.

Commander Jade comes running into the room a bit out of breath.

A voice comes out of the darkness. "What have I told you Commander"

Jade take a momnet to catch her breath "Sir I mean no disrespect, but we're getting a live news feed from Tappee you might be intrested in"

A T.V in the corner of the room turns on. The light it project slices through the darkness of the room. The preson on the T.V is none other then president Allenson of Tappee

Latitio turns to Commander Jade "This is most fortinate indeed, this may be the opertunity that we needed. Start phase three of our operation. once that is done quickly move to four. Understand?"

Jade has a smile on her face "Yes sir."

Latitio could'nt help by smile either. they couldn't have got a better gift.

Flashes from numerous camera's light up the room as General William takes the podium in front of thr press. There is complete silience, the entire county is holding their breath what Williams has to say will directly affect the outcome of the War with Iaceo was may even chance the political structure of Tappee. The shcokwave of todays event will be felt for years to. Williams takes a drink of water and pauses for a moment.

"I have just meeting with the other members of the Joint Chief in regards the present situation" he takes another pause as if to gather himself "the Joint Chiefs have decided unanimously side with President Allenson on this issue. Organization known as Iaceo present a threat not only to national security, but to World security as well. It is the opinion of the Joint Cheifs that we currently have the operttunity to finally destroy Iaceo, and we are not going to allow this operttunity to be passed. Therofor until the end of the conflict with Iaceo the Military of Tappee will be working under the Command of President Allenson. Now if you'll excuse me I've got lots of work to do."

As General turn from the podium reporters jump from their seats each trying to get their questions answered. Williams has neither time nor patience to induldge them.

Field commander Nethers calls is troops in for meeting. each member of his unit gather all them eager to hear what new he has for them.

"Just got of the Horn with HQ, I would appear the Presidents little gamble has paid off"

The chearing of his men interput him

"Quiet, We all no what these means, our operations will no longer be constrict be the Tribunal, and we will not have to sit around while they debate it in a commitee. we've got one commander that is willing to let us do what we need. Allenson took great risk in doing this, so let's not disipoint him, let should the Tribunal that we're not a bunch of babies, and we don't need them. So every one gear up we've got new objectives"

His men were moving like nothing before. He had never seen troop moral at such a high.

Phobos dove behind the hill as a hail of bullets riddled his pervious postion. The Tappee forces had unleashed a series of quick strikes that had caught them all off guard. from the intellegence reports that he had read from before the start of the Tappee forces were generally slow moving since all decisions were debated by the Tribunal. In the past hour Tappee forces had over run several of their fortified position. But Phobo's would be damned if he would let his be taken.

He brought his gun over the top of the hill firing at several Tappee solider that were unfortinate to be in the open. suddenly the enemy soliders stopped fireing. Phobo took the chance in looked over hill. What he saw was a shock to him the enemy was pulling back and regrouping about a 100 m from their pervious postion. Phobo heard a rumbling in the sky moving towrd them a sound that he had heard before.

"Everyone take cover!!!"

but it was too late the jungle around them burt in too flames. There was no place to hide.

"Admiral Dodalla, Firebird is inbound"

The Admiral walks over the the bidge window and looks out. It had been raining for the past three hours, but despite all that she could make the silouett of R-45 helicopter coming towards them.

"Very well, authorize them for landing, have the landind deck clear of personal. this 07 landing procedure."

"Yes ma'am" The operator reaches over and turns on the Dauntless's intercom system. "Attention all personal. We've got a code 07 on the landing deck, I repeat code 07 on the landing deck, this is not a drill."

Dodalla made her way to the landing deck as the helicopter landed. see watched as the special forces team on board disimbarked with amazing effiency.

"Welcome back Anerton"

"Are we clear" asked her brother

"Yes, I order an 07 code all the crew in the area are under lock down until I say others wise"

moment later two two where sitting in the Admirals office

"Any luck finding him yet?" inquired Dodalla

"No, so far just a bunch of dead ends, but I think we're getting close" answered Anerton

"What makes you think you can find him, we don't even know what he looks like"

"what I'm about to tell you does not leave his room ok sis"

"Sure"

"We had someone on the inside who has been given us information for the past month. However, we lost contact with them just after the fighting began."

Dodalla's eye's grow wide. "have they given us info on Latitio?"

"unfortantly they where not very high up all they could give was the location of Latitio's bases, nothing else. They had no knowledge of their operations. But it was a start. me and my team have only a few more sities to check. From our initial invesigatio it would seem that Iaceo has moved shop somewhere else. I got to go resupply we're heading out soon"

"Jon!" Doddalla face covered in concern "Take of yous self I don't want to loose you as we did mom and dad"

"Don't worry" was the only answer that he could give her

"Commander Jade your presence has been requested by Dr Brenzom in the med Lab, he says it's irgent"

"Thank you Sergent"

Commander Jade begins to make her way through the dimly lite corridors of the command bunker. Soon the air has the scent on ammonia, she is not far. She turns the corner to see Brenzom standing over a body lying on a table. She looks at the body on the table and is taken back by it, she take a moment to collect herself.

"Very well done doctor, the speicement is most impresive."

Brenzom allows a smile to come across his face "Thank you"
he move his hand over the body "As you can see it is perfect in every way, even you where fooled, judging from your reaction"

Commander Jade stares at Brenzom for a moment, the doctor seeing this takes a step or two back. Jade moves closer toward the body.

"What about it's memory?"

"from all expriments that we've conducted memory was not transfered" The doctor was still cowerding in fear

"Good, can you implant a new one"

"Yes, yes ma'am. Since we are dealing with a blank mind we can implant a new one using hypno thearpy, it's very effective"

Jade move around the table pinning the doctor between her and the wall.

"implant the memory profile that I gave you. Do not fail in this doctor. Latitio is not as forgiving as i am when it come to failure."

"Uhmm.. Yes ma'am. I will not fail"

"Very well doctor I shall leave you to your buisness, inform me when it is done"

Allenson reminds the tape agian watching the scene from the attack unfold before him, he had watched the tape a number time anylising for any information that may be gained.

[i]beep, beep[i/] The noise startles him he quickly looks around his desk and finds the noise come from his intercom. he reaches over and click it to the on position.

"Jean I said that I didn't want to be disturbed"

The voice on the other end sounds unsure of what to say "umm.. Sir it's the Joint chief here for their 2:30 meeting"

Allenson is suprised to hear her say that. He glances at his watch. Had he spent all that time watching the tapes. "Very well send them in" he grabs the remote turning the T.V off.

General Williams is the first to enter.

"sorry Allenson didn't mean to disturb you"

Allenson smiles "Thats ok, just lost track of time. thats all"

William gives off a bit of a chuckle. There was a type of informallity that was developing between two. Allenson takes in a deep breath. "So General what do have for me"

Williams looks at the others "good news actually" he hands a file over to Allenson "As you can see we gained a lot aground in the pat little while, we've taken casusilties though, current count is 345 killed or wounded."

Allenson contiues to look over the file, and takes a moment to look up "Have we got any prisoners yet"

"No Iaceo's force seeming more then willing to fight to the death"

Allenson lets out a sigh "Ok have your people do whatever they need to do, but give them orders that I want Latito Iaceo alive."

"Yes sir"

"General Williams, what is our status in the Gouldland."

"For the moment every thing is secure"

"Good, that will be all for now"

Commander Jade steps into the room closing the door behind her. She is entirly engulfed in darkness, she wait a momnet for the light above here to be turned on.

Now that the light is on she waits for a voice to emerge from the dakness

"Yes Commader"

"I've just spoke to Dr Brenzom, subject 456 has been prepred and is ready to begin operations. Request permission to comence phase four of the operation"

There is a pause of silience.

"Commander we can not begin until we have heard from agent Griffon, as soon as we heard from him I will then allow you to move to phase four."

The Commander bow her head "Very well"

The light above the commander goes out she turns leaves the room.

Latitio begins to luaghs "Soon it will all come together."

Albertsom sit at his desk sipping a glass of brandy watching the last of his fax move through the fax machine. Things have been set in motion now that could not be stopped.

He sat backin his desk and reflected on the event of the pased month. It had been mearly three weeks since Allenson had taken power away from the Tribunal. He knew thing where going to chance, but he wondered if it would be for the best. All he could do know was wait.

He took another sip on brandy and turned off the T.V.

"Commander We;ve just recived this from the front lines. It's not good ma'am"

He hand over a copy over to Commander Jade. For the past three week now Tappee forces have punished Iaceo, with a series of well thought out menouvers. They had very efficiently combinded their ground power with their air power. As long as Allenson was in charge Tappee's military was going to see Iaceo collapse under their military weight.

Commander Jade lets out a sigh "Very well I shall give the Latitio at once"
she closes up the file and make her way though the endless corridors until she reaches Latitio's chamber. She takes a moment to think of what she's going to say then open the door and proceeds into the darkness.

"Sir thing are not well I'm repositioning our force to mount a counter offensive. The enemy is to well organized for us to be fighting a defensive war"

She pause for a moment, she can make out indistict laughter the darkness
"Sir"

"Very well Commander Jade do what you need, but soon it will not mater much. I've just recieved word. I want you to move the phase four of the operation."

The words catch her off guard, she was aware the Griffon had reported in

"Yes sir. we shall commence immidiatly sir"

Allsenson sat at his desk reading report from the front lines in Iaceo. In the meeting that he had with the Joint Chief he had yesterday General William had told him that Iaceo force where on the verge of defeat even though they where only three weeks into the campaign. However on thing still worried him, despite their best efforts they still could not get a lead on Lattio Iaceo. As long as he was still alive Iaceo would still pose threat. As he continued to read through the report something began to bother him.

Allenson put down the papers and began to listen carefully. He could hear muffled sounds coming from outside the building. He would have looked outside the window, but his office didn’t have any, it was deemed a security risk, they didn’t want snipers shooting through the windows. He gut told him something was wrong. He reached to one his drawer and pulled out his side arm. Allenson then proceed to move to his receptionist office. When he walked in to the room saw his two-body guard standing there. Jean had already gone home for the night. His guards gave him a funny look seeing the gun in his hand.

“Sir is there some thing wrong” asked one them with a puzzled look on his face

“Yes there is something is going on outside, call Johnson in security”

The guard turned on his communicator, but got only static. A look of fear came over his face. “This isn’t right we should have a clear connection, the only way there would be static if someone was jamming it. That would mean..” the colour had gone from his face “That we’re under attack” The guards words hit all three men at once. “Sir we’ve got to get you to a secure location.” He walked over the wall hitting a button. A section of the wall moved back then slid upward reviling a hidden weapon cache.

Allenson grabed a vest while the other two grabbed automatic weapons. As they open the door the severity of the situation hit them. Weapons fire could be heard through the entire building. As they moved passed the first window Allenson see that there was heavy fighting outside as well.

As they turned the corner moving in to the fist corridor bodies of Allenson security forces as well as the bodies of the attackers lay scattered among.

Clink clink was the sound as the three look in horror as a grenade lands in front of them. Out of instinct the guards jump on top on Allenson. The room goes white as the flash bang goes off. After a few moment his hearing and sight comes back to him. He can hear commotion and gun fire all around. He can make out a figure moving towards him as the shooting stops, he not going to take any chances. He raises his gun begins to fire. However, his heroics stand ends when he feels a pinch on the neck. Quickly he reach for his neck pulling a dart from neck, Allenson can feel himself falling toward the floor.

Sergent Hermers reached down picking Allenson unconscious body from the floor sling it over his shoulder.

"Ok we've got what we've came for"

Him and his team made their way outside. Their force had secured enough area for the helicopter that was coming in to safely land. Hermers threw Allensons body into the helicopter then jumped in himself. There wasn't enough room to evac everyone, just him and his team. but the others knew this before they started the operation, and where more then willing to stay there and die.

Hermers watched as the helicopter rose from the ground showing the entire battle that was taking place below him. He wished his friends the best of luck.

Commander Anerton lay asleep in his buk aboard the Dauntless. It had been the first time in days that he would have the chance to get a good night sleep.

knock, knock

Anerton rolled out of bed and made his way to the door.

"Yes" he asked as he rubbed his eyes trying to make up.

"Admiral Dodalla has request you presence in her office ASAP"'

He let out a yawn "Very well I'll be right up"

He grabs one his his shirts putting it on s he makes his way to see Dodalla. As he passes the T.V he notices that there is an unusal number of people watching the T.V. As he passes by glances at the T.V and continues on his way, but stops only a few feet away. Cause of his training he had noticed something on the T.V. He quickly makes his way back to see if he saw right. He stands in horror like the other in the room upon reading the new. He brakes into a running moving through the corridors trying to get to Dodalla's office, he's there with minutes.

Dodalla closes the door as he enters. she take a second and looks him over
"from the look on your face I take you've heard"

"Yes when did it happen is Allenson ok"

She sits down in her chair "I've just got off the phone with Command." she looks her brother in the eye's "Allenson is currently unaccounted for, and has been list as MIA"

Anerton sit sit in the chair across from Dodalla and puts his hand on his forehead. "If they got him, what does that mean, who's in charge."

Dodalla lets out a sigh "I don't know what it means, but now Albertsom is in charge now, i don;t know how much longer you be safe here with him in control"

Albertsom sit in his desk wait for the Joint Cheif to arrive. They start entering the room one by one. General Williams goes to say something but is interupted before he can say anything.

"I want you all to shut up. I'm now filling in for the President in his absence. which mean no mater how you look at I'm the one in charge and you are following my orders"

The other member of the Joint chiefs say nothing but Albertson can tell that they are pleased.

"These are my orders I want our forces to stop all action against Iaceo all to pull back. I'm ordering a full reteat of our forces"

General Williams sit up and straightens out his uniform. "I'm not going to order the retreat. I won't we are to close now"

"General i am giving you a direct order, if you do not obey will have you relieved of your command"

General Williams stands "No need, I'm stepping down from my postion. I cannot in good conscience allow this to happen. I quit."

General Williams make his way towards the door followed by ther other member of the joint chiefs

Anerton and Dodalla had continued their conversation until they where where inteuped by a knock on the door. Dodalla reaches under her desk pushing a release button opening the door. a head emerges from around the corner.

"Admiral HQ on the horn they want to talk to you."

"Very well put it through" Dodalla grabs the phone and begin listening to the voice on the other side after a few moments hangs up, and turn to Anerton.

"That was HQ" Anerton couldn't help but notice a look of concern on her face, as well as in here voice "Albertsom fired the Joint Chief as has ordered a full reteat of our forces in Iaceo, it's over jon they've won"

Upon hearing her words Anerton feels sick to the bottom of his stomach.

"but..." he studders.

"We'll talk later about this" she replies

Dodalla gets up and mover passed Anerton moving into the bridge.

"Comm officer get me the intercom"

"Yes ma'am"
He hands her the mic

"Attention all hands We've just recieved orders for a full retreat all hands to there station's"

she could see the look of dispare coming over her crew.

"Admiral we've got incoming Helicopter requesting permission to land"

Both Commander Anerton and Admiral Dodalla stand on the flight deck as the approaching helicopter lands. A single female along with her security team disembarks the aircraft. Anerton walks over to her

“Dr Clrackson your about the last person that would expect to see here. Allow me to introduce you to my sister and Commander of our fleet here in Iaceo Admiral Dodalla.”

Clrackson extends her hand towards Dodalla “Nice to meet, can we talk in privet”
Dodalla takes Clrackson hand and gives it a good shake

“Very well, come with me. Since you on the Tribunal maybe you can explain to be what going here.” Dodalla gestures for Clrackson to follow her. Moments later the three are in the Admirals office.

Anerton is the first to open the questioning “How the hell were they able to get to Allenson with so much ease”

Clrackson takes her coat off and place it on the back of her chair. “What I’m about to tell you may vary well put you at personal risk, I want to make sure that you both know this before I continue. Now will be your only chance to turn back before it’s to late.”

Dodalla looks over at Anerton, and then back to Clrackson “If he’s on board then so am I”

Clrackson glances over to Anerton “I know Allenson trust you and I trust him, so I guess that means you can count me in”

Clrackson reaches in to her brief case and hand Anerton a file “As you are aware in order to get even close to the presidential place you need to bypass a series of automated security grids, and to do so you need the proper pass codes for each checkpoint”

Both Anerton and Dodalla answer in unison “Right” Anerton continues, “If they bypassed the security net then how did they get the codes”

“The codes where given to Iaceo from someone on the inside”

Anerton interrupts her “But Allenson ran a complete check after the attack on the capital, we took all of Iaceo people out. I personally oversaw the operation”

Clrackson looks into Anertons eyes “There was one person who Allenson did not put on his hit list. Just one person that he decided was worth keeping around for the time being”

Anerton looks shocked at hearing the news “Who”

“Ron Albersom” her words cut through the air like a hot knife through butter

Dodalla’s lean back in her chair “That would be why from the beginning of the war that he’s done all in his power to stop this war. He made it appear that he didn’t want any looses. The abruptness of the withdrawal, and the Joint Chiefs. But why would Allenson allow this to continue?”

“Albertsom was our only connection to Latitio. With Albertsom in power Latitio would now control the Tribunal, by then controlling the Tribunal he would then…”

“Control Tappee itself” interrupted Dodalla.

“Right” Clrackson let’s out a sigh, she is visible tiered “Allenson decide to force Latitio in to making a move against him by taking away Albertsoms power. Fours hour ago he made that move.”

Anerton put down the file on the desk, so what now. Where do we go from here? It obvious the Albertsom won’t try to rescue Allenson, and with every passing moment he solidifies his power.”

“Allemson prepped for this and had a tracking device installed, we know where his is. We did all this behind the Tribunal back, Albertsom has no clue”

“Where is he then Susan?”

Clrackson write the coordinates on a piece of paper then hands it over the Anerton “Here. Jon you’re the only one I trust, the Tribunal does not know you’re here, suggest you use it to your advantage, I’ve got to return to Tappee or Albertsom may suspect something”

Anterton hands the paper over to Dodalla “How long till we get there.”

She looks it over “This is in Sven115 territory, that under guarantee, by our forces, how are we going to get in with out the Tribunal know”

Clrackson let out a smile, leave that to me some people owe me a favour or two you’ll have an opening in the southern coast for 12 hours.”

Dodalla thinks for a moment “Ok let do this, and lets do this right”

A few hours later both Dodalla and Anerton are looking over satillight photos of the area. The counrty of Sven115 was completly destroyed by a virus that kill the entire population five years ago. Since that time others members of the region maintianed a tight guarenteen zone to prevent the spread to other countries. the entire country was a giant ghost town. neither of them where suprise that Latitio had fled here at the begining of the war. With Albertsom help it would not have been hard for him to get in our out.

The phone rings on Dodalla desk. She quickly answers it. "Sure put them through." She pauses for a moment waiting for the call to be transfered. "Hello, yes, very well sir I shall adjust heading right now"
she hangs up the phone with a giant smile on her face.

"What's up" asked Anerton

"It would appear that the Terminus which is patrolling the coast of Sven115 has had engine problems and has been called back to port for repairs, my orders are send the Dauntless to take over her route until the repairs have been completed. she's good I'll give that much"

"How long till where there"

"Since i've alread changed course, 15 hours"

"Good I've got to go brief my team, I only hope Allenson can hold out"

The motorcade comes to stop infront of an abanddonded building. Men with guns jump out from their vehicles with guns drawn try to secure the area. but the only thing the lurkes now in this city is death itself. when they feel that it all clear they pull their prisoner from his seat they drag him through the lobby then stop and they wait for the blast door to open. Several moment later they make their way to the elavtor that will lead them down in to compound, but their journey will take some time.

Allenson is still grogey from the drug that he's been givin, but can't see a thing due to the bag over his head. They could have picked a better smelling bag he thought to himself. He could feel his knee's buckle abit as the elevator came to a stop.

He could hear some people walking towards him.

"Is that anyway to treat our guest of honnor" said a voice on the other side bag "Take that off"

Allenson pulled his head back as his eys attempt to adjusted to the light. Allenson falls back on his training as he attempt to asses his current situation. he counts ten guards around him, all armed with both automatic weapons as well as side arms attached to thier belts. judging from their builds they we all wearing bullet proof vests. standing before him was a military officer, female , some where in her mid twenties. He was not familiar with Iaceo uniforms but he could tell that she was of high rank.

"I should have know that Latitio would have the balls to meet me, instead he's sent some else to do his dirty work from."

The woman brought her hand back, then in a quick motion slamed her backhand across Allenson face

"Might I remind you Mr Allenson that you are guest here, and I would adivise you to show your host the proper respect. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm am Commander Jade Latitio second on command"

Jade takes a step closer towards Allenson it an attempt to scare the old man before her

"You'll have a chance to meet Latitio soon enough"

Allenson watches as the Commader moves in closer

"Ahh..I see your nothing more then one Latitio's little dogs on a short leash, tell me do you enjoy playing fetch for your master?"

This comment proved more the Jade was willing take, as Allenson soon takes a knee to the groin. he collapse to the out of breath and in a bit of pain.

Commander Jade kneels down so that she can be at eye level with Allenson.

"I wonder if you maintain your wit after your done with our interogator. I've had a chance to read our file. According to Barthmall you can withstand a large amount of pain, this should prove to be most interesting." Jade allows her self a smile. "Oh by way, you wouldn't be needing this." Allenson lookd down at the tooth on the floor. He moves his search for his false tooth only to find it's been removed.

No soon had he got the words out his mouth when he got a club to the back of the head. the room went dark.

Anerton stands in the back of the room watching T.V with the rest of the crew. The last few hour had gone by slowly but it wouldn't be lonl before they reached their objective, and Anerton and team would go try to save day.

"Oh come with with this guy" Anerton returned his attention back to the T.V. One of the Dauntless's crew member was visably upset by the comment that intern President Albertsom was making. They where watching Albertsom address to the nation, about the current events.
Basically what was being said was that he's know in charge, The military was retreating from Iaceo, and with Allenson abduction martial law had been put in place. It was obvious from the crew responce they where not pleased.

Anerton felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see his sister standing beside him.

"Where about an hour out you better get your people ready" she wispered to him.

Anerton turn and made his way to get ready. However, the motion caught the attention of some of the other members of crew.

"Admiral what do you think all, it seems that this guy just giving up on us here."

The room goes silient and the attention of the entire room moves from the T.V towards Dodalla.

The scene chance to picture of missiles bing fire, as well as the main guns being fired. It changes back to Dweral

Dweral: We do know the the crew has been move to Red status.. oh wait one sec Frank it appear that a helicopter is coming in for a landing, and we can hear the crew chearing. let see if we can make our way to the landing area.

The screen becomes jumbled as Dweral and his camera man try to make their way to the landing area. Everything comes into focus as the helicopter lands. Medics and security personal make their way to the aircraft helping people off the plane

In addition under orders from President Allenson Tappee forces launched a series of precision attack against the remaining Iaceo forces. Those force which where not destroyed have surrendered. With the complete obliteration of Iaceo's military we are ending Tappee's wartime status to that of peace. The war is over. I'll will answer any questions that you may have."

"Where's President Allenson now"

"Due to a number of security leaks the President and his family are in a secure location. And on that note Intelligence Tribunal Chair Ron Albertsom has been arrested with Teason as well as breaching national security."

"What of Latitio Iaceo?" asked another reporter

"Our forces are combing Iaceo as we speak in a search for Iaceo"

"In an earlier comment you said the 'President and his family' I was not aware the President had any family. Can you clearify that comment?"

Smith reaches over and to kiss Susan. There haven't been too many momments like this his life so he was going to to enjoy his for as long as he could.

Latitio feels her self walking up and tries to move, but can't she's been fully restraind in her chair.

its not long till the water is up to her knee's then up the her chest. By her eastimate she got about a minute until she completely submerged.

upon hearing the news Allenson flicks a switch causing the water to rapidly drain the chamber. he pushs another button causing a key board to come out of the wall.

Allenson moved quickly through the narrow corridor trying to make his way to his office.

"Allenson wait up, we need to talk" Allenson turned around to see Commander Anerton trying to catch up "Your a hard person to keep you to you know that" Anerton was trying to catch his breath

Anerton takes a deep breath "just thought you should know we've check out the sleepers, she wasn't lieing, they've been cleaned out as you requested." hands Allenson a file "Also everything check out at home well. Iaceo stink is now gone. security has given the all clear move back to the Palace. we depart in 40 mins, the Dauntless is enroute as we speak"

"Thanks Anerton, I've got some thing to take care of first" he turns and begins to make his way toward his office "Oh Anerton, if you see my daughter can you tell her I want to see her ASAP. Thanks"

Charlie Kao sat at the window looking out ruins of what had once been the Iaceo capital Iaceor. Due the recent war with Tappee, Iaceor was a shell of what it once was. However the scene before him was much better the prison cell which had been his home for the past two years.

Kao was arrest two years ago for attempting to start a policial party to challenge Latitio. When Tappee had liberated Iaceo from Latitio's grasp they had freed all the political prisoner and asked them to help bebuild. Since he had the most contracts they asked him to take charge of the country. It would not be long until Tappee would send people to help setup the Transitional Government. Until then Tappee soliders where in charge.

Kao took some time to admir the art work on the wall. This building was once Latitio palace. Now it would serve as the new general Assembly building.

Jade pokes her hear around the door. She see's her father sitting a desk reading through a series of report

"You wanted to see me" she smiles as her father jumps in suprise. He motions for her sit.

Allenson takes few moments to prep himself for what he's about say "I'm sure you have some questions in regards to General Williams 'family' state that was made a few days ago. Susan Clrackson and myself where married aboard the TBC Dauntless shortly after my rescue. My were joined there by a few personal friends, as well as our 26 year old daughter." the room went quiet as every one seemed suprised by his comment "In addition I've dispatched a deligation the help in the rebuilding of Iaceo. Kao waits at the end of the runway for the passangers aboard the plane to disambark. He's exicited to meet them.

Kao notice that the military liason office that has been assigned to him is waving at him, he want him to come over. he's talking to one of the passangers. Judging from the unifomer it's a General.

"Kao come here, I'd like to introduce to General William. He's going to be heading the transitional government as well over seeing our Garrison here in Iaceo"

William extends his hand to Kao as a sign of good will "Nice to meet Mr Kao, I've had the opertunity to read your file during the flight, I'd like you to meet my number two"

Kao turn to see a single female walking up beside the General. The colour disapear from his face. he quickly pulls his hand from the Generals grip and take a step or back.

She extends her hand as sign of good faith.

"Yes" She still has her hand extend

"I can understand you did what you had to. But you have to forgive me if I don't shack your hand Miss Allenson. But maybe you can earn my trust in the coming days."

"Hello" Allenson reconizes the voice on the other side of the line. It Gerald Frowsdwell Allenson's Forgien Minster. Allenson glances at his watch. "It rather late I trust that this is importand Frowsdwell"

"I've just got off the phone with my counter part in Treznor. They would like us to hand over Latitio"

'sigh.. I know is this already. I want to see what else I can get from Latitio first. Stall them a bit longer, when I'm ready I'll personally head down there to broker the exchance." Frowsdwell could hear Allenson getting annoyed by his tone of voice "This is not importand, I trust that there is another reason you called. One that your not telling me"

"Yes, It just came across the wire, and thought you should now. The Government of Gouldland has collapsed"

Allenson head was beging to hurt "Alright pull a full evac, and mean everyone. i want everyone out with in 24 hours. Also I want a full report on my desk by 7:00 am"

Priminser Kao and General Williams finsh going over a number of field report. When PM Kao takes a moment and leans back in his chair.

"General Williams, I can ask you something on a personal note"

The General is a bit taken back by the PM question. He take a moment and thinks to himself. He has some idea of where the conversation is going.

"I don't know much about her, even the Joint Chiefs have limited access to Tappee's intellegence communtity. what I do know is the past 4 Years she's been working undercover here in Iaceo. she was able to quickly move through the rank to become part of Latito's command team after the start of the. Also in order for her do that and it would have taken a certian amount of ruthfulness to get their. And she would have no choice in doing so, as not to blow her cover. If she hadn't done what she HAD to do, me may have lost the war. I trust her father with my life, so if he trust her, then so do I. I wish though the situation could have been different, but you and I both know she the right person for the job"

Jade puts her hands around the back her next and attempt to get rid of the muscel knots that where begining to form. She had been pouring over field reports for over three hours now. She was trying to determined what the status of her old 'Comrades'. since she had been in command of Iaceo's at the end of the war she knew where they all where. knowledge that her father had put to good use in the final blow against Iaceo. Now she was just making sure that there where no lose ends.

As soon as she fells the tension leave her neck she turns her attention to the last folder her desk. It's not long until she donce. Jade grabs a pen and crosses of a number names on a notpad. The name on the list are all the Iaceo commanders, if their name has been crossed off the are either dead, or capture. Jade looks in horror as the still remain two names on the. she reaches for intercom moment later she hear the voice on the other.

"Yes Ma'am, how may I help"

"Jill I want you to contact General William, and Prime Minster Kao. Tell them that I need to meet with them ASAP. Also send a priority one message to my Mother telling her that we need to talk."

Allenson made his way past the security check point leaving behind an army aid and security personal as they didn't have clearnce to be in this part building. he noded and smilied at random people as he moved through the hallway, few had neither time nor the patience to return the gesture.

He rounded the corner and made his way the room at the end of the hallway. He paused for a moment to make sure he was where he want to be, then knocked genetly, then waited for the ok to enter. When he did, he open and made his way in. The man at the desk was a good friend

"Tell me Anerton, how you like life behind a desk"

Anerton gave Allenson a quick smile. Four days ago he was a Field Commander of the 1st X, now he's seated on the Tribunal. A job which does't allow for much feild work.

"Tell me Allenson how long did it take you adjust it"

Allenson returned the smile as he took a seat across from Anerton

"I'll let you know when it happens"

Anerton realized the commrodery between them, the two men had very simliar backgrounds. He really adrimed Allsenson. Allenson was 57 years old and Anerton doubted that there were many field agent that could keep out him. Allenson ended the silence. his face turned serious

"I just finshed talking Susan. According to Jade there are two Iaceo officers that are unnacounted for, I want you to send some people out to see what happened to them. I want to to know what type of threat level they are." He hand Anerton a series of reports "Here's all the background info the Jade could give us, I hope it will be enough"

"Sure" He reaches over grabbing the pappers. He takes a moment or two looking them over "I'll get someone on this right away"

Jade walks in the confrence room a little out of beath, she had been running late and was forced to run up six flights of stairs. she throws two file folders on the table in which General Williams, and Prime Minster Kao sat.

"Here's you reading boys" She allowed the two an opertunity to look over the report as she walked over the rooms light switch. When she was sure they where done she turned off the light.

Jade fumbled for a moment as she searched her pockets for the projector remote. moment later the room was once again lite, but this time from the over head projector.

There was a single image of an adult male approximitly 40 years of age.
Jade cleared her throat.

"I'd like to introduce you the General Sam Hieksel. The General here is a local boy who had a mercanary base here before Latitio setup. He swore alliegance to Latitio, but for a hefty fee I was told. Hieksel had a special forces team working under him and only him. The General would run Black ops for Latitio, again for a fee. Latitio never brought me in on any Hieksel op's. But for the time I don't think he's much of a threat, He a merc in every sense of the word. General Hieksel would move against unless there's profit involved, but we still should keep an eye on him."

Jade pauses for a moment allowing the slides to change.

"This man however is a threat. This is Coronal Dillian Phobo. Phobo is a fanatic, and is exremely loyal to Latitio. He was injury in an air raid during the begin of the war, he suffer 3rd degree burns to a large portion of his face, he's recovered physical but not psychologically. He was greatly respected amoung his men, and I fear that he'll use this to his advantage, in his recruitment. He's very charismatic, but not much of a tactican. I've personally had a few run in's with Phobo, and I can assure he will be a problem, he angers easily. as soon as he's got enough people we can expect guerrilla style tactics to use, similiar to the terrorist attackes used by Latitio, be they'll be done here. neither of these men have the current resource to launch and operation outside of Iaceo"

Allenson hung up the phone grabbed his coat and started to make his way to the door. He was almost there when Anterton stopped him.

"We found one them"

Allenson rush passed him

"Good, send the info to Jade she handle"

Anerton started to run behind Allenson, he was trying to make sense of what was going on

"Some unfinished with Treznor's people" yelled Allenson as the doors closed behind him.

Jade quickly raises her head from the desk. The fax machince had woke her up. she glance's at her watch. it's four in the morning. She must have fallen sleep. Yawning she grabs the fax that had just finish priniting

Puts the fax through the shredder, takes what remains and lights them on fire. After this is done she turns on her computer going through the usual security checks. open up her email. Finds Anertons e-mail, and copies the attachment to a disk. After the transfer is complete she take the out puting it in another computer. After the disk boots up Jade in promted for the pass code she type's in

Admiral Dodalla looked out towards to open ocean. The Aircraft Carrier Ithica her support group had joined the convoy. now that the Ithica's support group had arrived they had

Their orders where to patrol the exchange zone to make sure no one entered. Most would have thought that this was overkill just to ensure that a single person didn't escape. But Latitio couldn't be allowed to escape.

Under the cover of darkness Jade looks around the corner trying to determine the threat level. By her count there are three guards at the main door, four more on the roof. She draws her weapon from the holster and check the chip. she slides it back in then pulles back chambering a round.

just to be on the safe side she thought to her self. Her father would killer if he knew what she was up too. She places her weapon back where it was and then casually walks around the corner to towards the guards.

The three guards who only moment earlier where joking around stiffen up as they see her approaching.

"What do want?" barks one of the guars as the other two take up a defensive postures. Taking an Offensive position of her own she tries to get as much distance between her and them as possible.

"I want to talk to Hieksel." she reaches into pulling out a three one hundred dollar bills "And gentel men don't tell me you don't know who I'm talking about."

The one guard grabs the money from her hand "Very well follow me" she assumes the three will slip it later.

She follows him through the main door down a hallway into the lobby where she is stopped by another guards.

"Place any weapon you have here, you know the routine." She places her gun in a bin then turn facing the wall. She leans forward placing her hand on the wall as the guards begins his search. Jade soon realizes the he get a rather bit 'Friendly in his search. Before he has time to react Jade grabs his arm twisting it around his back, as he turns in suprise she give a swift kick to the mans knee causing him to drop one knee one the ground. She bring her other arm under his chin placing her hand on the opposit side of his face, all she has to do is twist him the right way and his neck will be broken. the action in the room had caught every one else by suprise. Jade had the men in a compermising postion long before any one had their guns drawn.

"ENOUGH" yelled a voice from accoss the room.

Upon hearing this Jade lets the man go. he quickly returns to his feet.

"General you should kill this she going to killed me"

The General Hieksel walk over to putting his hand on the mans shoulder.

"No Tony. If the Commander here had wanted you dead, then you'd be dead. Next time I might suggest you treat our women guest with a bit more repsect or I'll wont be there to save you." He turns to Jade. "Well Commander Jade, or should I say Miss Anteron. Tell me why I shouldn't kill you where you stand for betrying my most valued Customer"

She Look him directly in the eye "Now General is that any way to treat your new best costumer. I've got a contract for pay's 10 mil 3 upfront you intrested, or has this been a waste of my time."

Hieksel is a man where money is the only loyality. "who's the target"

"Dillian Phobo" was Jade response, she didn't feel much like conversation right now.

"I can do it but I want more. I want more. 13"

Jade thinks for a moment "I'll give you 19 if you tell what op's Iaceo had you running, with 7 up front."

the General eye's grow wide "Done, when I get the money you get the info."

"Very well, same drop point as normal" Jade turns a walk's away. she nearly through the main door when the General calls to her.

"Miss Allenson you forgot your gun"

She turns and smiles "Keep it. I only want you to think that you where safe, by having it"

A shocked look came over the Generals face. Even he had unestimaited her talent.

"YOU DID WHAT" Yells Kao. Jade could just hear the anger his voice. "and what the hell are laughing at" When he realized that General Williams was laughing across.

The General takes a moment to catch his breath. When he know hes done he get up and walk over the angery man

"You, actually, your a politican not a General so let me make this simple for you. The Enemy of my Enemy is my friend. My Miss Allenson has done is killed two birds with one stone. Now that the Genral Hieksel is on our payroll he's no longer a threat, second of all his people can get into places we can't. If he wants his money he'll doevery thing in his power to kill him. I have to say Miss Allenson well played, your father would be proud." He could see that Mr Kao had seen the logic in his words.

"Very well General, when you put it that way. Im' sorry Miss Allenson."

It was a beautiful day to be outside. Jade sat quietly at the bus stop waiting. She notices that the bus is comiong and should be ariving within moment. Jade grabs her brif case and take a step towards the curb, indicating to the driver that she wants to get on. Once the bus has stopped she makes her way on pausing near the drive

"I'vr only got a five, is that ok."

The drivers looks at her rather funny "I can't give you change if that what you mean"

she smile "No that's ok" She drop the five into the bin then make her way to find a seat. There only one other person on the bus. she takes a seat directly behind him.

"You got what I want" asked the man

"It depends" was her answer.

"Under your seat" She reaches down finding an envelop taped to the bottom. she slide her brief case under the mans seat since she was there anyways.

She reaches up pull the bell "Until next time" as the bus stop Jade quiclky make her exit.
