Dra-pol

OOC:Excuse the crappy title/use of the 'word' "thru". Darn space restrictions! This is a fairly long rambling post, but that's alright, as I'd like someone who's willing to get a bit more involved than to say "Sure, here's a thousand MiGs, give me X billion, good day." There's a lot of nations on the Christian side, and I'm running out of options all on my own!
Dra-pol is a brutal sham-communism in Asia, lying where North Korea ought to be, and it is currently assailed by several more advanced Christian states, intent on regime change. This is a long established RP covering two large threads, so don't worry, there's some pretext for their invasions. However, I'm of course trying to RP my way out of it from the point of view of our national leader, Director Kurosian, and I'm doing it thus far without joining battle (in previous phases of the conflict we have fought bloody battles with neither side gaining anything worth the thousands of deaths). Our technology is primitive, the jet engine, for example, being a new concept to us, so we're not well placed to fight without destroying the massive economic progress we've made.
The motivation for this appeal is in Kurosian's increasing realisation that despite his best efforts to trick, scam, negotiate, or otherwise squirm his way out of it, war may be unavoidable (actually it has already been declared, but we haven't responded officially and are in the middle of a 'grace period'). Dra-pol needs basic military gear to equip its vast (propaganda claims well over three million effectives) but badly equiped army and airforce, and seeks, perhaps as Hitler did, a wonder weapon which the ill-informed isolationist state believes might get them out of this.
Id est, first; our military uses a lot of late WWII Japanese technology, and I would like to push for cold war Soviet/Chinese type tech (though other avenues would be considered), and we need to get it in despite the presence of advanced hostile forces, and second; Dra-pol feels like a second rate sham-communism without any "WMD" programmes. If anyone wants to try smuggling technologies, that might be..good. Of course it's not up to me if they get through (damn those Christians ;) )
If you're willing to play out an attempt to arm or otherwise support an embattled communist state with a bad reputation, and don't mind the risks presented by an alliance of advanced religiously motivated states, step forward, comrade!
