A lone replicator was exploring a building in one of the many ruin cities scattered about the planet, when it happened upon some kind of machine. It was some kind of subspace receiver, though the scout didn’t know that. A message was being received. The scout crept closer.

The scout relayed the message to the nearest hivemind. Included in the message was the location of this “Earth”. The hivemind decided almost instantaneously that this place was worth checking out. Millions of replicators began work on a craft that would be used to transport them there.

OOC: Moral of the story, don’t spam random nations, heh. I’m a bit tired after all the World Cup tables; yes this is Total n Utter Insanity. More later.

Finally the craft was finished; actually it was made from over 4 million replicators. They had been disassembled and reassembled into a large ship, capable of interstellar travel. The journey itself would take several days. Onboard were 1 million scouts, 100,000 attack drones, 50,000 airborne attack drones, 10 hiveminds for communication and 1 controller to operate the ship. A few minutes after takeoff, the ship had left the atmosphere. The controller engaged the engines, its destination, Earth.

*pokes his head into the thread and ducks to avoid being hit by the ship*

hmm. . . . interesting.

I might get involved once the thing reaches Earth.

OOC: Nobody else seems to want to stop me from taking over NS Earth, oh well :)

Perhaps, they really don't mind being taken over by aliens.

The ship dropped out of hyperspace on the edge of the Sol system. The controller adjusted the heading to intercept the orbit of the third planet and engaged sub-light engines. They would arrive in under an hour.

IC:
The ship set down in an isolated part of Fanama. The replicators quickly disembarked and begun work disassembling the ship, it took roughly 10 minutes to do and another 10 to reassemble the 4 million replicators. The scouts began digging. Within an hour large caverns had been dug, where the hiveminds resided, guarded by drones. Then it was time to move out. 5 million scouts spread out looking for resources to assimilate.
