Aboard the Vzxlackian Dreadnought, the general stared at the primitive planet the great ship orbited. That planet would serve as a test sight for the Empire's new, destructive weapon. Months of development have brought them to this point and, now in a backwater system deep within their Imperial Space, the Vzxlackians would see if their labor was worth it.

The insectoid general chittered to one of its officers to give the order to launch the Planet Crusher prototype. The command was relayed and within moments after speaking, the general saw a white streak of light fired from the Dreadnought. Its ant-like eyes watched in awe as the streak met with the planet's surface and caused a great bellowing explosion that spread over the world's surface, clouds of black dust began building over its atmosphere to block out the planet's sun.

What was happening down there was what was greatly anticipated and expected. If beings from Earth had been there to see the devastation, they would have equated the Vzxlackian's new weapon with the power three times that of the asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs. Chittering cheers filled the Dreadnought as the young world they orbited fell into a stage of death.

Word of the project's success would be transmitted throughout Vzxlackian Imperial Space and to Vzxlack itself, orbiting a star deep within the territory in a position rarely known to outsiders. The Empire of Vzxlack would be feared with the possession of these space bombs. After the transmission was sent, the Dreadnought pulled out of the orbit of the now dead world and was accompanied by its escort of Vzxlackian Battleships.

Within moments, they left the solar system and returned to a nearby outpost for supplies.

Can you please be a bit more descriptive on the general mechanics of this?

Hand how many of there are carried on a single ship?

OOC: Not being an expert physicist or anything, I can only say so much about the way it supposedly works. Essentially it's a nuke that uses a massive chunk of uranium and powered by alien technologies that my little insect species has perfected. Assume what you like on how it works... I'm open to ideas.

As for how many are on a ship, well that has yet to be determined. So far there's only ten prototypes, and that bomb was one of them.

OOC: I do not want to mention the fact that you are not even a month old, but just for future reference: when you are making a new technology try to make sure you understand the science behind it a little better. If you want some help with that I, or some other more highly qualified person, can probably provide it.

OOC: In the terms I was talking about that really doesn't matter. However if you want some help I can make something more realistic for you, with semi-working physics, albeit much less powerful.

A probe on its way back to an explorer vessel relayed pictures and video to Fleet Command in Comdidian controled space.

They watched seeing something fly down towards the planet then the entire planet being consumed and turned into a dead planet.

Several more probes were launched towards the planet as two searched for the firing vessel turning up nothing.

The Droshi crusier, Wild Claw, on routine patrol in the Kiashtani system began picking up a massive energy discharge.

"Sir, we've picked up a massive energy reading, perhaps a large explosion!"
"what? We've got to check this out. bring us about and enter Jump."
"aye sir!"

The Droshi ship immediately began to accelerate to Jump speed, and in a minute, was gone.

The Vzxlackian clicked on in protest, its words translated for the other ship. "It has been within our territory for centuries. It was our planet and we will do with it as we wish. Back down or you will be considered spies and annihilated."

The Takian expeditionary fleet recieved a quick coms burst, something they were used to picking up and generaly ignored by now, yet the words "massive explosion" drew the captain's intrest.

"make the fold to that contact" Malachi said gently, the ship responding almost as if controled by his will. The takian battleship made the fold, followed closely by three battle cruisers and a small floatilla of destroyers riding in its folding field. They came in quietly, fold generators venting cooling fluid and providing a cloud to obscure detection while they looked on at the planet.

"interesting" the captain said "it seems about half as powerful as our own nova cannon, and much slower, stay on this course and keep an eye on that fleet, find out what you can."

OOC:There is multiple ships with it we never send ships out alone even scouts.And if you fired on us i think that if you had another one of those nukes it wouldn't get passed our shields if fired upon we will destroy you.

"Captains raise you shields their preparing to fire charge all you weapons
to maximum power ready boarding parties."Commanded the Admiral.
He opened a channel to the aliens "If you fire you will be destroyed i'm sure we can reach an agreement any refusal will result in your destruction."He explained.
"The terms are you leave this system alone and abandon it and if you're wishing to travel through Ceranissian territory you need permission to procede.
You are also not allowed to fire on our empire unprovoked if you do NO mercy will be shown to your species.Those are our terms good day"
The admiral said.

The Vzxlackian general began screeching in rage as the admiral refused its altamatums, "This is Vzxlackian Imperial Space! We have conquered it centuries ago. You are out of your jurisdiction!" The hailing channel was cut off and the general snarled in rage, almost about to give an order to fire on the offending ships when it was alerted of more ships nearby, orbiting the test site.

"<Are they friend or foe?*>" the general asked with curiosity.

"<Not friend, nor do they appear to be foe... yet,>" a Vzxlackian officer replied. "<They seem to be investigating the results of our new weapon.>"

"<Send a hailing channel to them,>" the general ordered. "<Maybe we can use them to our advantage.>"

"<Yes, my commander.>"

A hailing channel was opened to the Takian vessels orbiting the dead world. Quickly the general spoke through the channel, its clicks and whistles translated for the Takians, "This is the General of the 5th Vzxlackian Imperial Fleet. The system you are in is one of ours and we have tested a new weapon on its once living planet. Currently we are dealing with spies challenging our power in the area. Do you lend your aid to our legal enforcement?"

A blademasterian Deep space probe, detecting an attempt at some planet killer, went to investigate. Drayus engaged a real-time feed with the 40 meter long craft, as it sped towards the scene at well over 50km/s^2, the distance too short to engage its jump drive. As the probe neared the site of the explosion, Drayus almost sighed, if he could have, and he thought: Yet another race attempts to produce a weapon as useless as a planetkiller... oh well.... I suppose I should investigate this further, perhaps these people have some technology I could use. The probe launches a small tracking device, less than 1cm acros, it speeds towards the Vzxlackian Dreadnought, implanting itself on the hull. The transmitter activates, and the probe pulls back, awaiting the arrival of the two defenders.

"christ they are ugly" the Captain said to his aide, open coms with them though. . .

"attention. . . um, whatever the hell you are, it is Takian policy to not take sides in conflicts between nations that are not our allies. . . we will however allow you to use our battleship as a neutral meeting ground to discus and resolve this conflict without the risk of bloodshed."

he beemed the message to both ships, and patinetly awaited a reply.

The reply came swiftly, "Negative. The spies have refused to comply with negotiations already. We believe them to be extremely hostile." The hailing channel was closed.

The Vzxlackian general looked to the nearest officer and made its orders, "<Send for another Dreadnought and two more Battleships. Tell them of the situation we deal with.>"

"<Yes, my commander.>"

Without wasting a moment, a summons was hailed to another Vzxlackian Dreadnought and two Vzxlackian Battleships.

The admiral ordered for more ships from nearby fleets preferably super destroyers.
Then he replied to the Takan ship "They destroyed one of our planets getting ready for harvesting we are not going to stand down unless they surrender"He then closed the channel swiftly before ordering all troops on board all the ships to get ready to board the hostile ships.
As well as ordering all weapons to maximum power except for the destroyer cannons.

The admiral sighed, the fold drivers would take a good three days to cool to the zero point, and at least 12 hours to cool to a usable point.

"move us away from the engagment zone, but keep an eye on them, I'm rather interested to see how this plays out. . . and get me an open coms channel"

he waited a while before the prompt came up.

"to combative parties, we will remain neutral in this persute, but if even one stray beam damages my ship, we will treat it as a declaration of war, and will annihilate the offending side, any questions?"

Messages were not only received by the other Dreadnought and Battleships, but were relayed throughout the entire expanse of the Vzxlackian Imperial Space. Quickly, Border Patrol ships released Vzxlackian Space Mines in clusters around the systems of the disputed site. The mines were programmed to immediately attack anything not of Vzxlackian design, damaging their hulls, weaponry, and engines.

Speedily, the other Dreadnought and Battleships arrived at the disputed site and quickly hailed the Cerenissian vessels, "This is the general of the 3rd Vzxlackian Imperial Fleet. You are surrounded. Our Border Patrol ships are already actively blocking out any aid you might be calling for with our Space Mines. You are to back down as my comrade general has already asked. Any refusal to do such will result in entire annihilation of your vessels. Spies are not tolerated in Vzxlackian Imperial Space."

The new ships armed their weapons and shields, waiting a response from the Cerenissians. One of the favorite tactics of the Vzxlackians was to choke out their enemies with the mines and destroy them.

A cluster of mines drifted towards the hulk of the Takian battleship, being targeted and detonated my a guarding frigate, the shards of sharpnel being deflected away by the shields.

"son of a bitch! open frequentcy to that damned bug ship now!" captian Malachi bellowed

"This is your last warning, keep your ordinace away from our ship, or we'll show you how planet killers work against ships. . ." he scowled as teh Takian fleets moved further out of the range of engagment.

A transmission hailing from a Border Patrol ship intercepted the message from the Takian vessels.

"Our apologies. You are not the intended targets of the mines. If you wish it, several of our ships will escort your own out of harm's way."

"like hell. . ." he said, eyeing the holo message with growing suspition, "send a message that we'll find our own way, and to keep any ships from getting too close to us, Ensign, blast a path through those mines to minimum safe distance, turn us around and turn defencive shields up to full. . . I want to see what they can do. . . "
The ship fired up her thrusters and AA point defence systems, clearing mines in a wide ark around it.

The admiral then armed the destroyer weapons and ordered all other ships to.

Meanwhile the reinforcements detected the mines and began to blast them apart the advanced weapons tearing through the primitive mines like they were paper as they neared the sight of the stand off the ships they armed the detroyer cannons and locked on.The giant ships dwarfed all the other ships their except for the Ceranissian destroyers.

Malachi watched the viewscreens, entranced by the powerful Christoniac ships powering up.

"such grace. . . such poise. . . what magnificant ships. . . " he murmered, waiting tencly for the show to begin as the ships reached minimum safe distance and had begun to swing around to face the fight, ready to return fire should they be targeted.

IC:The admiral said as he locked on to the other bug ships "This is our hour you shall pay for what you done to the planet it was of great riches a resource world.

Over four hundred Border Patrol ships swarmed the newly arrived Cerenissian vessels upon breaking through the wall of Vzxlackian Space Mines. Ion and plasma cannons were immediately fired, not giving the ships a chance to reach the disputed sector of space. Torpedoes were launched, aiming at important, structural points such as the engines.

Back at the disputed system, the two Vzxlackian Dreadnoughts and five Battleships opened fire on the stubborn Cernissian ships. The Dreadnoughts and Battleship released an entire host of countless one-bugged Vzxlackian Fighters. The Fighters attacked like a swarm, blasting at everything the enemy had.

The Super destroyers let blast with their destroyer cannons incinerating everything in their paths fighters were released as the bugs weapons impacted on their ships shield's boarding parties were sent out to ships ready to be teleported out sent to assassinate the captains as the reinforcments asked for all fleets in the area to come to their aid.

Torpedoes were fired at the bugs who's weapons couldn't tear through their powerful shield's as the Ceranissian ship's let loose with destroyer cannons capable of destroying entire stars the bug's were screwed.

For the most part, the shields of the Dreadnoughts and Battleships held up remarkably well. They had the finest generators in the Empire. Try as they might with their torpedoes, the Cerenissians could not get all of the Vzxlackian Fighters; their numbers being numerous and resembling a locust swarm as they overwhelmed the enemy ships.

One Border Patrol ship unlucky enough to get in the way of one of the massive blasts was incinerated, but the rest continued their onslaught without fear. The Battleships and Dreadnoughts continued their powerful fire on the original foes, hammering them relentlessly.

Armed Vzxlackian soldiers within the Vzxlackian ships fired immediately on the enemy troops that beamed onboard. The insects were naturally prepared for such breaches.

The superdestroyers shields were still holding no ships had been lost the boarding parties set bombs on shield generators and engines before teleporting out.
As the other fleets nearby came to the conflict they immediatley began blasting apart the bugs ships.
OOC:Um the destroyer cannons launchbeams sending out deadly toxins and radiation and blast things apart aswell

IC: One Battleship became crippled by the bombs set off within, technicians immediately sent to repair as much as possible. The covert operations on other vessels were quickly foiled beforehand, the bodies of the enemy discharged into space. As the Cerenissian fleet arrived, the Fighters returned to the Dreadnoughts and the four Battleships that were still in prime condition. Border Patrol ships began to scatter from the area.

It was appearing that the Vzxlackians were in full retreat, immediately leaving the system. At first allowing the moment for the Cerenissians to rejoice their apparent victory, the Vzxlackians began to pull a different tactic. Primary guns were pointed at the star itself and concentrated fire. With this assault, eight torpedoes were launched as well, landing into the fiery surface.

The surface of the star began to grow violent from this onslought, growing red and tossing dangerous ultra-flares around it. The Vzxlackian ships warped out, save the lone Battleship that had been crippled. The core of the star had been destabilized by the heavily concentrated fire and was about to head into nova.

If the Vzxlackians couldn't have the system, no one would.

"they didn't. . . " Admiral Malachi said, watching the star boil. "Everyone, cluster teh ships, prepare for emergantcy fold, I don't care if they overheat, we need to get the hell out of here!"

The ships quicly and efficently moved into a tight cluster, the second fold drives taking hold and teleporting the ships away, a few smaller frigates were too far away, and they engaged thier only fold engine, praying everything would hold together.

After a military engagment ended in the destruction of a contested starsystem and the subsiquent loss of three Takian Fleet vessles in the area, the Takian High Prince has declared a state of hostile neutrality towards the Vzxlack empire. Any Vzxlackian ships entering Takian space, or being encountered by Takian warships will be considered hostile if outside of thier home space, and will be obliterated on the spot.

In other news, the Takian opposition party leaders are still missing after a controversial bill attempting to limit the power of the High Prince was vetoed by Prince Taka. . .

Tarenteor, demonic leader of Jangle Jangle Ridge, looked mildly at the broadcast. Such weak nations fighting over piddly weapons. They needed to be taught a lesson in the power of Jangle Jangle Ridge. He turned around and spoke to General Gerald Diaz, one of the few people Tarenteor trusts.
"Ready a fleet of 60 Terracoste-class battleships and 10 Gera'dkt-class battleships, highly-armed with some of the new prototype weapons. And ready the Loki, and put my favorites. Now."
Diaz nodded and ran out of the room, as Taren leaned back grinning.

Out in space, the fleet of 71 ships approached Vzxlack/Taka border Realspace, as all the weapons locks were taken off, and Taren idly tapped a button, ordering the other ships to follow suit. And all the ships crossed onto the seperation lines, and seperated into two groups of 30 Terracoste and 5 Gera'dkt ships, each going out into the seperate Realspaces, and set off towards any nearby systems. Any planets or stars encountered would be hit by PlanetShriek beams, capable of going stright through a planet and out of the other side, and capable of unstabalizing most stars. Loki, with Tarenteor on it, waited at the border as his ships reeked havoc in the seperate nations. They were in for a suprise.

The IGNORE Death Star has been preppred and has now entered the Vzxlackian home system, after arriving the dreaded IGNORE weapon fired on the Vzxlackian home system ingulfing it in a massive IGNORE Field. With this done, a drinking fest was organized and the IGNORE Death Star returned to Proxima. Also, we have sent our race of mutated grasshoppers to interbreed with the Vzxlackian women.

The Ceranissian captains and Admirals laughed as they charged their superdestroyers and launched them at the fleeing ships and then activated their fold drives and cut of their only route of escape landing out of range from the exploding stars as the boarding parties got on just before they folded.

As the bugs ships were either destroyed from the star or the beams the Ceranissian ships destroyed the remaining fleet of about two patrol ships that did not get away from the star or the destructive beams.

Once that was done they made a fold to the nearest military system and sent a message to the emperor and with that war was declared.

All available ships would be mustered to rid the universe of these scum.

IC: Two heavily battered Dreadnoughts pulled into the nearest Vzxlackian outpost system. A full report was delivered explaining the loss of the system and the ships. The Cerenissians were listed as a threat throughout the Imperial Space of Vzxlack, and any conquered people were ordered to destroy a Cerenissian vessel upon detection.
