So much anger. But you know there was no seperation of church and state in ancient greece. The governments there did what ever the seers and priests told them to do.
What people of the world don't realize is that all religion is the same. Everyone worships the same god they just call him a different name. For athiests he is called reason. To muslims he allah. To Christians he is the christ.
We are all worshipping the same person. No need to be upset.
In fact, I say we should build a new temple in Jerusalem just to give acknowledgement to this higher being.

But I beleive, that despite the fact that all religions of the world are the same, they are vastly different. many religions have become corrupt in trying to understand the incomprehensible or in imposing authority where they have none.

Religion wasn't responsible for that, lack of was. People started to think and reason.

But you know there was no seperation of church and state in ancient greece. The governments there did what ever the seers and priests told them to do.

That was in early Ancient Greece, but later on the Athenians began to think differently and created laws to govern man and leave the Gods out of everything. All those legends of how the Gods helped in the wars was studied by the first historians and figured out it was just because of the circumstances, not divine intervention for the reason that an entire enemy fleet was destroyed in a storm or that an army was victorious over another.

I can give you an example of circumstances over divine intervention.

I was hit by a truck last Monday, now... I came out of that accident with only a few cuts, bruises and some sore stuff. People continually told me God must have been looking out for me since I wasn't hurt even more. Bullshit, it was the circumstances, the truck hit me while I was in mid air, had my feet been on the ground, my legs would be broken or I would be dead. And the fact that I only have a few cuts and bruises is because I was wearing 4 layers of clothes and my backpack, which prevented my head from bouncing off the road and my skin being grated along the pavement like chedder cheese going on a pizza.

And as for that higher being crap, there has not been one shred of physical evidence that there is a God. And it's really a scam how faith is the only thing you have going for you religious nuts. Religion is a moneymaker and a job for the power hungry.
