Due to a recent bill pending legislation in the GrossDuetschland Union that is aiming to abolish border inspections for civilian vehicles and merchant trucks the Macabean government is working to create a new inspection unit which will take mere seconds and will not stop a truck, slowing down trade.
The essense of this is that at every 100 miles a tunnel 1/2 miles long will be constructed for trucks only. All other vehicles will pass through normal border roads.
The tunnels will be equipped with a perpetual scanning mechanism using a mix of C++/JAVA and the Macabean military language PML as a program to be able to scan a truck send it back to Macabean Central Intelligence and the border gaurds (military) showing the complete contents of the truck and putting emphasis on bombs and such.
This technology to research will cost some 600 million but each tunnel is estimated at 200 million.
The technology will sell at 1 billion USD.
