The Federation then attempted to remind New Spartha that we are not obligated to help them.

"You have officially become a New Spartha's enemy, after New Russia you're the next. You can join us whenever you want and avoid the consequences."

The Federation then reminded the New Sparthans that they are, in fact, smaller than our Commonwealth of Saturnine City-States and that their armies are better suited to staying at home where they belong.

New Spartha National Information:

The Empire of New Spartha is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, corrupt, moralistic government is mainly concerned with Law & Order, although Commerce and Defence are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 1%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Cheese Exports, Retail, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

Crime is a problem. New Spartha's national animal is the fish, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the erg.

"I have the support of many countries in my region, with their economy and my weapons we can get rid of you quickly. My size is small now, but we are working to grow up, maybe with your territory"

The Federation then cautioned the New Sparthans to not be so hasty in their words and has sent the regional delegate of "A New Begining" a message informing them of their new member's behavior. We'll see what happens now...
