Land based fighters have relitively weak airframes compared to naval fighters. They would not be able to withstand the impact of hitting a carrier deck.

Most MBT's weigh in at around 15 tons, thus and LCAC can only carry one at a time not four. And even if it could transport 60 tons of cargo it has a limited cargo bay so only one tank will fit. The junipers serve as a staging area for the LCAC's and tanks. The juniper itself can carry 4 MBTs not the LCAC's. But if the resitance is that light you should just use some amphibious light vhicles and a special forces team. You can send in the tanks later with fewer ships
