A large cruiser for providing fleet air defense. In addition to a 5”/62 calibre gun, it boasts four 64-cell VLS launchers, for a total of 256 cells. The ship also has an exceptional tracking and fire control system, and can support the SM-2 ER SAM, which has a maximum range of well over 300 km. This version is essentially the same as the regular Carrack CG, but without the laser. The weight and space generated by removing the laser can be used for a number of systems, including guns, missile launchers, or a helicopter hangar. We do not offer anything as standard, but will gladly discuss the installation of any of these.
