House Corino's and Markov Project STAR GUARD became opperational last evening.

STAR GUARD is a 90 Billion RU advanced network of satelites and ground based detection systems and anti-missile batteries. Using a combination of heat seeking/guided missiles, lasers, and communication jamming, STARGUARD can intercept any incoming projectile taveling up to Mach 12. Sucess rates are estimated at:
87% For hypervelocity missiles
91.5% For cruise missiles
