After serving 5 terms of presidency, Theon Selmy, Dirty Pie's leader for the last 20 years, has decided not to run for office again. Now, an election is in full swing to come up with a new president.
On one side, is Robert Britton, running on behalf of the Speare party (a version of the democrats). His campaign is based heavily on rebuilding Dirty Pie's economy, after Dirty Pie's recent, money-consuming war against the coalition. He's also leaning heavily on healthcare costs and tax cuts.
His opponent is Tommy Falks, running as a Midirio party candidate. Moderately right-wing, Falks is more concerned about building up defenses in response to the recent war rather than building up the economy as his first priority.
The final results of the election are expected to be completed within a day.
