$5 only in the wild badlands where all the ex-military ex-cold war stuff was dumped. you'd be taking a risk in how well it has been maintained, and likely get shot in the back for being an american there, especially after Afganistan and Iraq.

$400 US will buy a brand new one straight from the factory. And -47s are still made, even tho the -74 makes them obsolete. there're states that don't care to take the time retraining all those footsloggers and instead get the old models again.
