Dominaria selling Artifacts and Artifact creatures

25-09-2003, 01:31
OOC: Sorry I couldnt get pics, people who play MTG dont seem to spend much time drawing or making CG...Oh, and a Nari is worth about 3.50 dollars, and is a gold coin about the size of your palm.

All items in this store run on powerstones, which range in size from as big as a full grown man, to the size of your little fingers fingernail, each contains enourmous power, and can even grant a sort of low level sentience when applied in large numbers, the properties of the stones are an unkown, but when cracked or otherwise broken, they tend to release all there energy in a very large exothermic reaction (they blow up), however, they are extremly tough, but like diamonds, if you hit them in the right place youll crack them.

Powerstones:
The ultimate clean energy source, these are blue stones, which can act in many roles, the chief one being as a power source, though they glow and can also be used as a sort of permenant torch, they range in size, as stated above, from six feet to a side, to less than half an inch. The stones do not appear to 'run down' or wear out, unless broken, in which case they explode and become pretty chunks of glass. Other uses are in weapons, if you can find one the right shape, they make excelent speartips, capable of piercing almost any armour. The most common stones are softball sized.
Price: 2 Nari per inch

Powerstone Amulets:
Create a field of low-frequency sound which causes the person wearing it to relax, and become slightly less sensitive to pain, very useful in healing since a patient is less likely to thrash around so much.
15 Nari each

Ornithopters:
Like a helicopter, but is powered by flapping wings. Once you get to your desired altitude, you lock the wings in position and glide, then, when you lose enough alititude, you start the wings again and get back to your original height. Typical weapons from Ornithopters are goblin bombs (listed further down), and assorted bow weapons, flame weapons are hazerdous as the ride can get unstable and the wings are somewhat fragile. The craft is made of wood to reduce weight, and there is little armour around the pilot, though there is a glass windscreen to stop the detritus of the sky from interfering with flight. We offer a 'ceremonial' version for important people who want a fancy way of getting around, it is much more comfortable and is painted in the color of your choice.
1500 Nari each
2000 Nari for diplomatic version

Goblin Bombs:
Small metal bombs (about 2 pounds each) filled with explosives, a small striker creates a spark on a hard impact and detonates the bomb, flinging fragments and fire in all directions. Comes in an anti-personel version filled with small metal balls as well for the same price. Be aware that the powder is VERY volitile and can be set off by rough handling.
Price: 50 Nari per bomb

Yotian Soldiers
Named for the army of Yotia, a long dead country, these automatons are insectile warriors, though in general man shape, they also closley resemble parying mantasis. They have two arms made of tempered glass, stronger than steel, and quite capable of dealing with infantrymen and other war machines.
Price: 150 Nari per unit

Avenger Automatons
The tanks of the Dominarian army, also an early version of the Yotian Soldiers. They are bipedal, and very heavy, relying on brute force to get them through everything. Each one can lift about five tons, though the ground may not support it. Their weapons are their hands, which can tear through steel and flesh, or simply smash it.
Price: 200 Nari per unit

Airships
The 'airforce', these are flying ships, capable of water, as well as air travel. They come in several types, ranging from simple Snows to huge Galleons, and mounting a wide array of weapons, from goblin powder mortars to energy ray cannons. These are rare and hard to produce, so please contact me for pricing. Just send me the specs you want and I will produce and price it.

Ray cannons
These focus the energy from powerstones into concentrated beams that can burn or melt through most materials. A crew of two, at least, for each barrel, the guns tend to overheat, so it is suggested that you wait about three seconds between shots, though you can fire a continous beam for almost a minute before the cannon melts.

More later, I have to go now, please tell me what you think if you dont want to buy.

OOC: Im taking what I know from The Brothers War, here, not the game

Urzas Tower
A mobile fortress, these towers use a system of legs to anchor as well as move about, each Tower can hold Artifact Creatures as well as living soldiers. All towers have mounted crossbows, catapults, and ray cannon for defence.
Price: 2,000 Nari

Clay Statue:
Invented by Tawnos as a personal defence for Lady Kayla bin Kroog, these are similar to Yotian Soldiers, except that they are made of a special kind of soft clay, stretched over a metal frame, when cut or pulled off, the clay flows back to its original form, the statues use their hands to simply crush things, or smother enemies with a ton of clay.
Price: 450 Nari

(OOC: Umm, I think Feldons cane was kindof unique?)
