The V-22 is a pile of crap, trust me. It has too many issues to be taken seriously as an aircraft. Sure it can carry troops, but there are too many things that can go wrong with it to make it a safe airframe. The US government is now continuing with the project because it has some merits but more because they have already invested so much money into it, that they would hate to see it just go to the scrap heap where it belongs.
24-09-2003, 17:44
Yeah, play it safe...stick with the Huey. They've upgraded it yet again, and I sell the UH-1N-4BN in my store.

Some pretty sizeable performance, maintenence, and electronics upgrades.

we can supply the F model of the F-18 at 50,000,000 USD each
24-09-2003, 17:45
Ditch The E-2, its old and will need replaced.

Same with the F-14, even the F-35 will be able to beat it soon.
Kotterdam

Kotterdam can supply the C-17, C-130, SH-60, and F/A-18 orders. While we do not manufacture F-14 Tomcat, we do however have an alternative aircraft: The F-72 Broadsword (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72449) all-weather multi-role fighter is rigged for carrier operations.

If you still want EA-6Bs, i can sell you 48 at around $22,000,000 each. We are currently developing a system to replace them, and no longer have need for these aircraft.

A further 4 have battle damage, which can be repaired, and you can have those for $15,000,000 each.

100 F-72 Broadswords would cost you $3,080,000,000 in total, with $912,000,000 for the 48 EA-6Bs. $240,000,000 would be quite sufficient, I would think, for the E-2C Hawkeyes. That is, to clarify, $30,800,000 per Broadsword, $19,000,000 per Prowler, and $20,000,000 per Hawkeye.

We can provide you with 200 UH-1N-4BN choppers, the latest incarnation of the venerable Huey, for $6 million a piece, $1.5 million less than we usually sell them for.

So that total comes out to $1.2 billion for the 200 of them.

Is this acceptable?
Kotterdam

The order should be en-route as we speak. I have confirmed the reciept of the full payment. The aircraft should be entering your airspace now, accompanied by a DKAF transport aircraft to return our ferry pilots home. We hope you find your purchases to be most satisfactory.
