War declared on chellis(By eridu)
The warmongering nation of Eridu has declared war on me. He did not try diplomacy, or anything like that; so i ask of others, not to join this fight. I can easily take care of him myself; an alliance with him might not be so easy.
Secret IC:Chellian units begin preparing to invade Eridu, and they begin loading onto naval craft.
Back off, he has taken it back cause he's got bigger fish than you to fry.

I ask you to outline your greivances since he has become an ally in this Phillip II ordeal. BUT, I will not interfere if you wish to proceed with the war.
Chellis does not just accept someone decalring war on them, then being so fickle as to take it back when they get scared. Eridu has made a powerful enemy.

You have attacked another soverign nation simply because they are too weak to fight back. Eridu has a justified grievance against your actions. If we allow you to take over Whittier, who knows where you'll stop. You might end up starting a world war or trying to take over the world.

If this invasion goes through allied aid will rise in the amount of another 3 million men mobilized within three months and sent to his nation to aid under his defence.
Armor will increase to 6,000 and anti aircraft (mobile) will raise to some 13,000 guns. Artillery will number sone 70,000 mixed towed guns and 700 self propelled gun. Anti-tank tanks will number some 1,500 and anti-tank aircraft will number 1,500 while fighters will number about 3,000 along with 1,000 TU-160 bombers. All of this supplied by 70 million tons of petrol, 700 million tons of food, 4 billion USD daily, 90,000 mixed trucks and 500 paid merchant marine ships to send over supplies.
Thus in other words we would fully mobilize most of our offensive capabilities (this is not god modding).

I have to protect my interest there which will soon be over 1 million troops getting ready to attack Phillip II. If you invade this operation and billions upon billions of dollars will be wasted.

Eridu, looking at your page, defense isnt even one of your four priorities, so the most i could imagine you spending on your military is 10 percent...Then figure in maintenance, fuel, etc...You really have a bad military, just for your info

1. They're in easily seen forts created by Macabean engineering ( you can see the big black imperial eagle on it).
2. They are not on gaurd when you pass by.
3. You dont occupy all of Eridu (since he is my ally and all).
Eridu, I know this can be considered backstabbing but you really dont have the money to support his war, and the GDU (GrossDuetschland Alliance) will not aid me in your plight since its not a favorable war. Chellis would outnumber even all three of us (you, sns and I) and he has a great economy.
Plus we can face a double invasion from Phillip II...

OOC: Er...even if a country decided to ramp up their military budget it still takes time for the benefits to filter down. It's not like Day 1 = increase budget and Day 2 = extra millions of well-trained soldiers.

A.none of the nations list defense as a major concern, and so it cannot feasibly be more than 10% of your budget(regularly)
B.Check out those nations on the GDP calculator. You can see they have little military money.
C.Even if you can get fair weapons, and conscript troops, they wont be all that well trained, compared to my battle-hardened troops. Quality is another measure of military.
