Space program documentation
[[[Sept. 23 2003 7:17PM]]] *Phoenix,AZ,ARPM-> After launching a number of Pepsi sponsored rockets, carrying everything from communications and weather satelites, to GPS and spy satelites, Phoenix Dynamix( A large defense/aerospace contractor within TPM )has decided to give a large donation to the Phoenix National Space Agency. We are now starting multiple spaceplane and reuseable rocket programs. A space station is in the works as well and a series of probe will be launched to explore the depths of our solar system.
More information on our program will come as it is availble.
We of course assume you will share the technology your space program develops with us as we are a member of the PHX federation. We will donate $200 million directly to the program for now, perhaps we shall build a joint training facility on our border in the future.
We have new press photo to release, it is of the SC-747 air launching system which we have developed to launch a reuseable shuttle without dangerous and expensive rocket boosters. A combined cycle rocket engine pushes the oribiter into space and then an ion rocket keeps the shuttle on a stable orbit. plasma arc thrusters will be used to de-orbit it. Retracting solar panels and a robtic arm will also be included on the orbiter, which looks simmilar to the Russuian Buran or the NASA Space Shuttle but is much more advanced. A 2nd flight test will be done by next year, after which, it will make its first orbital flight.

I have looked over several of the Phoenix Dynamix proposals and would like to transfer the MAG-1 or X-50 prototype from PD to the TSA. I would keep on some of the PD staff of course, also we do not beleive the projects mentioned are being pursued as much as they could/should be.
Also for the MAG-1 project we have a much better site to base it at.

Congratulations. We would like to someday reach for the stars as you are doing.
The Dominion would be happy to help you with the development of your space program.

Sounds good but our budget would not be able to support it.
who what who are u talking to weekend me or seminole :?:
btw i already have use of 2 of your SP-1A Thunderbirds..
[omg now weekend lazyness has a banner..i need to make one]
If you need ships, feel free to stop by my storefront. Excellent ships for (relatively) low prices. Designed to cover all areas of attack and defence, you can't beat a Klonor ship.

No thanks, I won't be needing anything like that.... ever.

What, you'll never need ships? Then how do you plan to go places?
Oh, so you're staying non-FTL? Nevermind then.
a facility for the MAG-1 Prototype is being built under ground near the the Fahbash Mountain range in southeast Tyrador. We hope to launch a test sled within 4 days.

My Storefront^ (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=55022)
We have now completed the construction of 4 SC-747s
and 6 SC-7 orbiters. A fullscale training aircraft made to
mimic the properties of the SC-7 but powered by turbofan
jet engines will be built to train astronauts. Then 1 more
space capable orbiter will be built. 4 orbital flights with 2
differnt orbiters have been completed using 3 diffrent SC-747s.
Regular operations of the SC-747/SC-7 will begin this year with
the launching of satelite arrays, space probes and other components.
With the added capability of the SC-7s and the SP-1A Thunderbirds,
we belive that a space station project can be started very shortly.
This new station would among other things, give an actual destination
for the MAG-1, should it be completed.
The basic MAG-1 System
A maglev track proppels a sled which carries the MAG-1 vehicle which, after seperation, ignites a combined cycle rocket engine which pushes it into the upper atmosphere. To save onboard fuel, we are thinking of adding a pair of small disposable solid fuel boosters to get it the rest of the way.
Sounds good.
The first 2 modules of the station are being designed now and will lauch when they are constructed into seprate orbits. Once we complete the rest of the modules design and construction we will link the orbitng once and luanch the remaining (there is debate within our government on what modules we should include.)
The Tyrador Space Agency has failed to come up with a suitable space station design so we request to be alowed to add modules to the station you are building (for governmental and military uses)
For scientific research we are now contracting civillan companies within tyrador.
Agreed and, the space station is already coming along nicely and a picture will be released to the press soon (once i draw it)
bump so this topic doesn't get trimmed.
