ATTN COMMONWEALTH MEMBERS! Meeting on Xanthal/DNS Conflict!
The Empire of Valinon is here by calling an emergency meeting of all Commonwealth member nations to address the recent conflict arising between the nations of Xanthal and DNS. This emergency meeting will be held on Proxima Centauri in New Koln. This meeting will be presided over by His Majesty, Emperor Gustav Alderman I. We strongly encourage all member nations to attend as this may have a great impact on the Commonwealth policy regarding the former member of Xanthal.

We are not declarine war, we are discuss what action and position should be taken by the Commonwealth in regards to this recent raising of tensions between Xanthal and DNS. This conference will be an invitation to Commonwealth members only, so in the future we politely ask that Xanthal refrain from making further commentary.

Valinon: OOC: These comments are being made on open channels. I don't claim to be in on your private meeting, but I am free to comment normally outside of it. Since the purpose of your meeting is clear, we are broadcasting our say.

OOC: See my response on other thread. Also, if need be I will send ships with secure communications equipment to Commonwealth members and make these communications secure. You were the one who chose to pull out of the Commonwealth after all.

Currently I have no fleets on the Xanthal/DNS area of border dispute. But I think it might be wise for both these nations to allow an international force come in and oversee this area if they come to a diplomatic solution, that way both sides can be assured the other side will not cheat them on whatever deal they may work out.
The Fleetworlds will send the peacekeeper 1st fleet to oversee that boths sides do not get to jumpy on the trigger finger
the first fleet consists of
20 Hyperion Patrol vessels
1 Presidential Class Battleship
2 Heresy class Destroyers
with full fighter compliments totalling 120 fighters

The commonwealth should not be intimdated by Criminal threats and we should try to settle this by negotations if possable, if not we should show why one should not try to push the commonwealth around and stand up for its Ideals.
I strongly urge the Commonwealth members (both IC and OOC) to pay close attention to the proceedings in this thread (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=73696) while debating this matter.

Ok, 2 things.
1. DNS really dosn't have any territory TO invade. See DNS-1 if your still confused.
2. We're not at war yet, but I'm not saying that IF there is a war you shouldn't help me. I personally have no clue where this is going. We don't even know who, or what, is in control of Xanthal. So please hold off hostilities for me, if only temporarily.
