After a massive artillery barrage and air strike the army broke through border defenses around the town of Zaranj. Zaranj was quickly encircled and is bieng reduced to rubble. The army has split into 2 groups, one heading east to Kandahar and one heading north to Farah.

The Alpha Special Paratroops Unit will be sent to assist.
All Taliban_ have left Afghanistan for Russia to carry out more suicide attacks against Russian Forces.
Though a dozen or two were left behind to terrorize people of Aghanistan.

The High Overseer of the Social Harmony supports Eye Ran in the war against the Taliban not because of the bombings but because we believe that the strong must always prevail upon the weak in order for evolution to proceed. The Eye Ranians have our support in the form of our 20,000 Social Harmony Expeditionary Force. We do however ask that in the event of occupation, we gain a section of Afghanistan for ourselves as our territory.

Our 20000 soldiers have BEGUN to arrive in Eastern Eye Ran and are preparing to deploy themselves to the front lines near Herat. The plan is to make a rapid thrusting attack against Herat and then move against the northern towns of Mazar-i-Sharif, Termiz and Tahkurghan.
