Constantine XXIII lay on his bed, sick with fever and insanity. His oldest son, Adanedhel, who really wasn't even his son, stood by his bedside. Adanedhel took the crown off his father's head. 'He is not fit to rule, yet I am unready.'


Days later....

Adanedhel tapped the mike. 'Ahem.'

'As my father has been rendered unfit to rule our Empire, I have begun to take his place. In the ceremony a few days ago I was proclaimed Regent of our fair people. And as Regent, and ruling by Royal Decree, I have decided that we have had enough purges. Enough Inquisition.

'As of today slavery is abolished, no matter the circumstance. Prostitiution also. Alcohal and Drugs have been rendered illegal. Religous Freedom will be reinstated, as will sexual freedom. They millitary, excluding police and space forces, will not exceed it's current numbers. Freedom of speech and of the press will be returned. Compulsary millitary service is over. Criminals are to be rehabilitated, not punished.

'That is all for now.'

'Today, Regent Adanedhel announced a Reforstation Plan, and a Cultural Devolpment plan. Churches and Shrines are to be built all throught ADK. Palaces, Libraries, The Colususs is to be rebuilt, along with the hanging gardens. ADK is shifting from millitary to beauty.'
