Through mananipulation of elves with his will, Morgoth, the Enemy, was able to escape from his prison through dethroning the Lords of the West; however, the Lords have recently regained power and have begun to seek Melkor with a lust for vengance.
Tulkas has emerged from Valinor with a weapon (tulkas never used weapons) wrought of the strongest mithril and given the greatest blessings of the Vala. Tulkas has sped towards Angband with several other Vala, all of them late commers to Earth and all of them ready for a fight.
(Melkor can aprove of this if he wishes; he can also reject it)
