GLACORP announced a new infantry weapon system, the Personal Anti Armour/Air Rocket designed to take down aircraft and armoured vehicles, it resembles the LAW in many respects, but there are some key differnces. The weapon is a one use, one shot system, although GLACORP has plans for a reusable system in the making. All systems are avalible in Anti Air or Anti Armour format, though both are interchangeable, they will be less effective against targets they arent intended for use on.
(The Anti Air is longer ranged, but less explosive, the Anti Armour is short range, but more explosive)
OOC: These are avalible to both modern and future nations, the modern nations will have to decide for themselves what is futuretech though. BTW, if you cant get GLAcreds, then the current USD exchange rate is 2 dollars to one GLAcred.
The system comes in several vareints:
PAAR1 System:
A simple rocket, fin stabilized, and capable of taking out light armoured vehicles and infantry firing positions, electrical firing system.
200 GLAcreds
PAAR2 System:
Similar to PAAR1, but a few more 'accesories', namely, an image tracking computer in the rocket. Point the system at a target, the computer will take about .5 seconds to lock, then push the firing stud, the rocket will track the target until it is within three feet, then deactivate the computer and switch to an impact fuse.
250 GLAcreds
PAAR3 System:
Wire guided rocket, also slightly heavier, this rocket will penetrate 40mm of steel, to target, simply point and fire, moving the firing tube will 'steer' the rocket toward the area your pointing it.
400 GLAcreds
PAAR4 System:
Anti infantry varient, this system uses a proximity fuse to determine when a target is within ten feet, then explodes, sending 250 steel balls in a cone about five feet wide to the front. Unguided.
300 GLAcreds
PAAR5 System:
Anti fortification rocket, has a hardened case desinged to pierce concrete and steel and explode inside. Unguided
500 GLAcreds
PAAR6 System:
The 'Rocket in your pocket', extremly small, can be fitted into a pistol holster. The rocket is not very powerful or long ranged, but it will penetrate most body armour and bullet proofed glass, as well as scout vehicles.
100 GLAcreds
PAAR7 System:
Live capture weapon, once fired it will use an adhesive to lock onto whatever surface it hits, then send out a high voltage charge, temporary disabling people and destroying electrical equipment. Unguided, no pentration power
600 GLAcreds
PAARX System:
Anti matter rocket, will destroy EVERYTHING within twenty feet of its impact area. Wire guided.
1000 GLAcreds
Accesories:
+50 for infrared scope (reusable, can be removed and refitted)
+10 for straps to hold rocket across a soldiers back
+75 for vehicle mounting
Test liscences for reusable rockets avalible, the actualy rockets are the same, but the system can be used multiple times. Once testing is complete you will have production rights and plans, although ten percent of all sales must be delivered to GLACORP.
(Happy now?)
