The K-3 is a new supersonic 7.5 km range missile which is guided to the target by millimeter wave radar. As it nears its target, it recieves an update from the tank to ensure accuracy. It is capable of engaging tanks with the latest Kaktus ERA, as well as low flying targets such as helicopters, at ranges of up to 7,500 m. Penetration behind RHA is 1200mm.

Cost per missile:
$40,000.

The missiles sound pretty good, if we purchased some of them would mounts to fire them off cost a lot extra?

Well they need millimeter wave-radar, but a missile tube will do.

Yep.

Both missiles can destroy mostly everything theyre aimed at.

Well if it gets a top hit then of course, but if the missle hits the front of a tank then you might have soem problems killing the tank.

Both tanks (KAF-90D and T-80UM5) and missiles (K-2 and K-3) also fits in our army equally nicely :P

And most M1A1s are sorta invincible to 120mm HEAT rounds --- proven in the Gulf War.

*thinks how much armor his frontline tank has...* Between 1200-1400mm. Which is the heavy tanks. Light tanks, 800mm. Tank dEstroyers have 1500mm.

Perhaps. Depends where you hit the Q-2 with the K-3. That could most likely shred my APC's too.

A Q-2 might be able to take a K-3 in the side and keep trudging on, but a second shot would undobutedly kill it. Just depends on where you hit it.

I need to research some more on engine technology so I can give my next line of AFV's more armor.
