The Belmore Family Elections have come today and everyone is ready for a nailbiting finish.
The Candidates are

Alan Belmore(Liberal Demorcrats)
Alan Belmore is a very left wing leader, he has said he want to take Belmore out of the "capitilist dark age". The party currently leads Belmore and a well known fact that Alan Belmore is the closest relation to the Alan Belmore who founded the nation in 1900. Alan is very popular and is a very good politician. This party is mainly favoured in the capital and the north of the country.

Alex Dungate(Conservatives)
Alex, born into one of the richest families in Belmore was the first person to change his name when the new law stating that anyone can pay 1,000,000 Alans to the government to change their names. The party stands to give more to industry and provide those who run companies with more money. This party has good popularity amoungst the Belmorian Islands.

Oliver Belmore(The United rule front[TURF party])
This party is for the overall control of Bemore by one person, disbanding the parliment and running it themselves. Oliver is very sinical of forigners and belives in only pure Belmorians (only those who have been directly decended from the 5 founding families) should be allowed to live in Belmroe. This party is popular in the south of the country.

The PROG votes for Big Al' Belmore, he is what every nation needs, in fact we are so sure he is the right man for the job, we would like him to hold a public conferance outside our nations parliment, to promote the left wing candidates of present and future.

(OOC: If you put them on both the forums, some people get two votes... election fraud in TBF, too. )

Liberal Democrats sound the best with a slight margin over the conservatives (probably because of their name :) ). So that's where my vote will go.

out of interest, isnt a 2 month term pretty short?

i mean....and i'll point out this is not intended to offend, or insult, your government system, merely question it.....wouldnt the new government only just be getting through their first legislations before they face possible failure in their next election??
