500 soldiers from Whittier's special forces units entered Gdansk disguiesd as civilians while the two sides battled it out just outside the capital.
Their mission was to seize the Parliament and the Presidential Palace and arrest the Polish leaders and the assassins.
The Parliament building was easily secured as was the defense ministry. But not before one of the occupants placed an emergency call to the War Minister.

The War Minister looks at the President:
Sir we need to leave now.
President Slavinsky: What is it? We can't leave the city.
War Minister: While soldiers are dying outside the capital, the enemy has placed special ops troops in the city to capture you.
That was Lt. Hindale at the War Ministry. The enemy now controls the Parliament, the ministry, the radio station and and they are now headed this way. We must leave at once.
The two assassins look at them wondering what their fate would be.
President: Make sure those two are safe. They're coming with us. We must protect our guests.
I don't like the idea of leaving the capital.
War Minister: Sir, I don't like it either but what the point of winning the battle if your leaders are arrested by the enemy?
Two cars are waiting outside to carry us all to safety before the enemy soldiers get in here. But we must leave now. Time is of the essence.
