Bonstock

Bonstock has announced a replacement for the M1A2 Abrams tank and the Bradley Infantry Fighting vehicle. We are also announcing replacements for the F-16 and the Arleigh Burke destroyer. With upgraded micro-electronics, these weapons, most out of Sweden, are considered the best Bonstock can build.

CV-90 Combat Vehicle

Weight, combat loaded: 26,000 kg
Personnel capacity: 11
Speed: 70 km/h
Engine: Scania DSI 14 Diesel 446 kW/2200 rpm

This combat vehicle is the new replacement for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. It is upgraded with electronics better then the Bradley, including GPS, Advanced communications, night vision periscopes, and continuously computed aiming for the cannon. It comes in different varieties: Anti Air, Forward Observation, Command post, Recovery, and the CV 90120 Light tank, which will replace the Abrams. It has a Swiss ordinance 120mm smoothebore gun, along with a high powered continuously computed impact point calculator. Able to operate in the most hostile of terrain, these vehicles will make up Bonstock's mechanized divisions. Each machanized division will have the following:

250 Infantry Fighting vehicles
25 Command Vehicles
50 Anti-Aircraft vehicles
10 Recovery vehicles
15 Forward Observation
150 CV 90120s
A total of 500 CV 90 vehicles
Also with them will be 200 5 ton trucks and 50 gas trucks, totaling 750 vehicles, with a total of 12,000 troops. Bonstock is going to make 10 of these divisions, for a total of 5,000 CV-90s, maintained by an army of engineers and suport personnel.

Of course, our light force is nothing without air support, and Bonstock's making lots of it.In the beginning, our air force had a small number of Eurofighters and JAS-39 Gripens. The Gripen is now going to be our main fighter again.

This will be based as an interceptor along with 32 F-40s, which are to expensive to produce en masse. The Gripen, meanwhile, will be the replacement for the F-16, and will include the same electronics as the F-22 Raptor. It is most certainly Bonstock's greatest interceptor and ground attacker. Bonstock will have 20 Fighter wings, each with 60 Gripens, a total of 1200 fighters.

Of course, the troops always need helicopters to transport them and resupply them, as well as attack those enemies who just cant be shot at by the grunts.

The Swedes dont have a good chopper tehmselves, but they've bought an Italian helicopter that fills the role of a UH-60 and an AH-64, reducing unit divisions. It is known as the A 109 Augusta.

I have something similar to a gripen in design but more capable and slightly larger.
