The Dominion of Agrophite is reaping the rewards of their new ASS Research - and are rolling out a new Bioconstruct for the market - The Arachnoid.
AI controlled Sentinels - Bioconstructs containing a hunterkiller program and spreadconquer functions - Fully grown, these Arachnoid (Based on the multiple limbs) Sentinels will guard subterranean lairs, actively hound and destroy intruders, and have a nuclear battery that literally lasts forever.
While not completely machine, it works to the advantage, as the optional SpreadConquer function activates an onboard... Womb. It will incarcerate intruders, and use their flesh to cultivate offspring, airborne Broodlings, capable of latching onto armoured targets and efficiently consuming said armour for use in their next growth stages into fully formed Sentinels. These in turn seek out new prey and again repeat the Process.
A variation on the AMIDS (Autonomous Military Intrusion Defense System) Sentinel, (A Bioconstruct incorporating GLS (Gelatinous Limbic System (Affectionately called Tentacles))} the Arachnoid uses Lab grown Myomar - Synthetic muscle - To move about. It replicates advanced muscle and limbic control, and as pointed out by multiple scientists, a flexible structure is always more capable of withstanding repeated attacks than a rigid one. Distressingly mobile, and capable of literally turning Titanium girders into paperclips, the Arachnoid makes a rather impressive and functional sentry, fully grown, the Arachnoid boasts a full array of sensory organs and systems, and eight limbs; each capable of supporting the Bioconstruct upright.
