I am Jordan, the Director of Uroburos. I am new to the North Pacific Region, and although I opened this proposal to my neighbors initially, I recieved no replies. Along approximately 450 miles of my Northern coast, and extending inland into an area that is mostly salt marsh and silt barrier islands, huge deposits of metal ore have been discovered by a geological survey team I dispatched to assess my natural resources. I lead a young nation, with little in the way of high tech, or heavy industrial assets. Indeed, I have little in the way of gauging exactly what my economic worth is. What I propose is this. In exchange for providing me with the technology and the industrial base I would need to safely and efficiently extract and process the ore, I would be willing to grant several nations exclusive areas where they could harvest and process ore for their own use. This would initially be for a period of 50 years, after which time terms could be negotiated or terminated in a friendly manner.
In addition to MASSIVE quantities of commonly found and used ores, there are frequent deposits around undersea thermal vents of extremely rare and desirable ores. More information can be provided upon request. I look forward to communicating with you, and establishing ways to benefit our respective governments.
