World War 3 Storyline
World War 3 Storyline
From 1900 to 2000, the world has seen nothing but war, the peace in between merely an interlude for the coming battle. World War I, II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Kosovo and numerous smaller flashpoints have taken the lives of millions, and ruined the lives of millions more…
I. TRIAL BY FIRE
On January 1st, 2001, as the dawn gave birth to the 21st century, the next hundred years were going to be no different…
If many had known what was to happen, then maybe the new millenium would have made a back door entry; for by the end of 2008 the 21st century’s first ten years would be remembered as ‘The Decade of Blood’.
The Decade of Blood began, as it was to end, with untold numbers of dead. On September 11, 2001, two aircraft slammed into the World Trade Centre’s, toppling the megalithic structures, whilst another plane smashed into the Pentagon and another was destroyed after the heroic passengers tried to subdue their captors…
The world was instantly split, on one side stood the ‘Forces of Good’, which oddly enough comprised of the camp of the West, on another angle stood the ‘Axis of Evil’, the states classed as harbouring those who wished to destroy the West, and finally, there was ‘The Forgotten’. The Forgotten were those countries that had voiced arguments for both sides, and yet declined to have anything to do with this mess, often these countries had their own internal problems, and this was to have a direct affect on the outcome of a very important war in the future.
The war in Afghanistan was seen as a ‘side-show’, the knee-jerk reaction of the United States to such a brazen attack on the American homeland as they tried to sink their teeth into their adversaries. The US Juggernaut had been stricken a low blow, and now, it was retaliating. The strength displayed was beyond compare, and their adversaries, the Taliban and Al-Queda, disintegrated and slipped into the shadows… the Americans won, but had, at the same time, lost. Their target, a man by the name of Osama Bin Laden, has escaped the noose.
It was at this time that the ‘war on terror’ took an unexpected turn, the then president directed an assault on Iraq. Within months, the ‘Coalition of the willing’, comprising of American, British and Australian combat elements, swept into Iraq and decimated a good quantity of the Iraqi army, the Ba’ath party was in ruins. But once again, the prime target, Saddam Hussein, had escaped… America was getting agitated, and it was being agitated quickly…
The war in Iraq, thanks to sporadic rebel assaults and fanatical Saddam loyalists, was to last until it became simply another campaign in the ‘Great war of Twenty Oh Four”…
This was how the world saw 2003 draw to a close. The world was still watching, albeit with a very limited interest, as the new Iraq was slowly being redeveloped by the US. This was done after a ten million strong riot overpowered UN forces in Baghdad and rampaged through the city looking for food. They utterly sacked the city in three weeks of uncontrolled looting, and two months later, the Coalition pulled out of the UN, Coalition head chancellor Michael Trilkin stating: ‘They (the UN) are simply not capable of meeting the security needs of a modern world. Decisions need to be off the cut and instant. They are peacekeepers, not peacemakers.”
Israel followed the Coalitions example some eight days later…
It was this cut from the UN that was seen as a final straw against the world, the Coalition was preparing to bully its way to becoming ‘The New World Order” that so many had feared for so long. Now, with the New Year fast approaching, shady hands began to come into play, and the so called ‘Axis of Evil” began to prepare to live up to its name. There would be a fireworks display for the New Year, and it would be one that was to be remembered for generations to come…
II. RAIN OF FIRE
For the people of the West, 2004 has been remembered as ‘The Day the world stood still”. It was this year that saw the introduction of a number of powers to rival the strength of the US-led Coalition, and the first use of an atomic weapon, in anger, since the end of World War II.
The first that anyone knew that something was amiss was a nuclear weapon exploding along the San Andreas fault-line in North Carolina. Even though the bomb itself did not detonate anywhere near major populace, it killed millions. The fault line was ruptured beyond belief, and in a week, the sea swallowed a gigantic proportion of San Francisco whole as earthquakes off the Richter scale enveloped the bustling metropolis. Many skyscrapers now form concrete islands in what is now called “San Fran Graveyard”
The next attacks blew apart London and Tel Aviv with nuclear hellfire as an unseen hand swept through the lands of the coalition, and the next day, Melbourne almost met a similar fate, but thanks to ASIS operatives the bomb was not detonated. San Francisco, London, Tel Aviv succumbed to the atomic blasts, whilst Washington DC, Melbourne and New York came very close.
The west was now in disarray and the coalition disappeared literally overnight as its members began to struggle to damage control systems. The death toll was stated to be at 10.9 million, and is still rising in people of these areas as cancers from the radiation begin to affect people even more.
It was called “Global 9/11”. The west wanted blood, who it was mattered not, as long as it could sate its thirst. For the first time in history, the west began to have demonstrations fully supporting war, North Korea and Iran were seen as the chief suspects. Throughout the western world, scenes reminiscent to what was seen on the Televisions about the Middle East came into play as North Korean and Iranian flags were burnt, and their embassies stormed by furious westerners. It was recorded that at one Iranian embassy the guards, after firing wildly into a crowd of extremely angry demonstrators, were found dead, ripped apart by the hands of the mobs.
It was two months after “Global 9/11” that the culprits were uncovered. They called themselves the United Arab Republic, and, of all the places, they were organized in the Middle East, with the re-built, re-trained, and highly Islamic Iraq now acting as its main country. The Iraqi conflict had been Saddam Hussein’s greatest ploy against America. An entire countries population was in on the act, and by succumbing to the ‘mighty Americans’, they had made Iraq greater than it had ever been, and it was all thanks to their enemies.
The new United Arab Republic was built around the armies of Iraq, Iran, and Syria, and had connections with the North African Federation (which comprised of Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Chad, Niger and the Central African Republic.) The UAR also had significant contracts with the drug empires of South America, the pirates of the Pacific, and global terrorist groups such as the UAR funded “Fires of the Revolution” (The UAR REBELLION), a huge multinational force that fought for the UAR and its secret global assets.
The UAR openly declared war against “The enemies of the cause”, and greatly thanked North Korea for supplying the means to strike the blow. North Korea used this as proof that it had the power to strike out, and would do so again unless the UN and the Coalition met its demands.
North Korea, and the entire world, had another thing coming, and it certainly wasn’t agreement…
In early 2004, the Russian economy was on the brink of collapse, The UN, working closely with the Russian government, organized a plan that would essentially split Russia into 5 different countries with their own governments in a hope that this would stabilize the economy. This plan went into full effect spring 2006, but there was a problem, the terrorists who had used the nukes had obtained some of them from rebellious forces in Russia. Breaking up the country had only made the problem worse. rebellion forces were in control of of the sites where weapons of mass destruction were stored, they weren't afraid to use them, and they did. chemical weapons killed millions, and the rebellious forces were marching into Moscow, they seized control of the 5 capital cities of former Russia.
III. RETALIATION
The coalition soon decided to launch a blistering assault against the UAR for helping the nuclear terrorists, and they invaded North Korea for supplying the weapons grade equipment to build the weapons. For the first time ever, the Coalition was to be defeated…
Against the best of the Allied Coalition stood a cold, tired, hungry, but extremely fanatical North Korea, whose eyes were clouded over with hatred for the Americans and their South Korean allies. In a bold effort, the North Koreans took the advantage after they ripple-fired their entire nuclear arsenal, fifty-eight atomic warheads, at the invading forces. The entire backbone of the Coalition was turned into a radioactive quagmire, and the advance at first faltered, and then fell back…
The UAR, using both its unique equipment, and its terrorist cells, struck the enemy in their own backyards, destroying valuable equipment with the help of terrorists, suicide bombers, and guerilla warfare. World-wide hotspots flared up.
Israel brought itself into the equation on December 2004, when the Israeli Air Force attacked and destroyed a number of Al Hussein missiles carrying the UAR’s newest nuclear warhead designs. They then proceeded to assault out from Israeli soil ten hours later. The assault reached as far as Tikrit in Iraq, mostly due to the anti-UAR forces in the region, only to be beaten back by well placed artillery and anti-tank barrages.
China entered the fray when UAR terrorists attacked Shanghai and, during a four-day siege, destroyed the Needle Tower. A terrorist also tried to destroy the Chinese Navies newest warships, the two naval carriers Harbin and Beijing, but was caught by Chinese special police, and given a summary execution. China then engaged UAR controlled Mongolia, and was also attacked by chemical weapons. It was at this same time that the secret construction of a massive Chinese arsenal was unfurled, and the new and highly capable Chinese forces began to move into the Pacific as well as Asia in the name of conquest…
Russia’s entry into the war occurred in mid 2006, the government was finally overruled by a military junta and driven from power in early 2004, but that was overruled by “Global 9/11”. By 2006 the military had been re-built into an entirely professional force, and was ready to prove that the Russian bear was now alive and well once again. They swept down into Afghanistan once again, not only taking on the UAR rebellion stationed in the hills, but also meeting Coalition forces in head-to-head engagements.
The British decided to break away from the coalition in 2007, when in an effort that was unseen by everyone, a new government swept in. Its heavy handed right wing ideals saw for a re-establishment of colonial rule to “Secure the globe from UAR influence”. The new American president wanted nothing to do with colonial rule, although he did decree that the British would still be good friends of America… the situation between America and Britain is cooling, but only a little.
The time is now 2008, and this is how the world stands this present day. The world has been at war for the past four years, already the apocalypse wrought upon the Earth exceeds that of all the wars of the previous century. Hundreds of thousands now die daily as massive armies clash for no better reason than material wealth, conquest, and vengeance...
