After a vicious attack on an allied nation, The True Domination's 3rd Army is placed in a state of "high alert". Diplomatic solutions are still being explored at this time.

Located at various locations throughout The True Domination, The 3rd Field Light Army is a highly mobile unit, capable of being completely deployed in-theatre within 28-45 days. It is made up of the 40th, 41st, 42nd 43rd, 44th, 45th, 46th, 47th 48th, and 49th divisions of light infintry - 15,000 strong each; structured by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd regiment, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th company, 20th, and 21st batallion, and 30th and 31st platoon. Standard breakdown in a 3rd Army Infintry platoon is 20 soldiers per squad, and transported into battle in a light armoured 6 wheeled vehicle capable of 60 Km/h over rough terrain, and 120 Km/h on roads, armed with (2) 20mm chain guns.

Attached to the 3rd Army are the 101st, 102nd and 103rd Airborne Artillery Regiments, broken down by Company, Platoon, and gun crew. A typical gun crew is made up of 25 members operating a 210mm mobile artillery piece.

The 3rd is one of 5 main battle groups currently being utilzed in the defense of TD's intrests around the world. The average age of a member of the 3rd is 24 years, and has a rank structure of (non-commisioned soldiers): Private, Corporal, Master Corporal, Seargeant, Warrant Officer, Master Warrant Officer, Regimental Seargent Major; (Commissioned officers): Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, General, Major General

Effective Combat Numbers are as follows, as laid out in TD's Department of National Defence Strategic Combat Regulations:

Transportation is normally provided by the 89th Air Wing, and 61st Marine Division. Breakdown on the 89th and 61st pending.

Supply/Services including medical, military police, administration, maintenance, and stores is provided for the 3rd Army by the 31st Service Batallion, and security for the 31st is provided on a rotating basis at the company level while in-theatre.

A typical billot for an individual soldier could look something like this:

31st Platoon, 20th Batallion, 11th Company, 1st Regiment, 40th Division, 3rd army.

The Republic of Bweezystan will supplement TD's ample forces with its 1st Infintry division, a modest light infintry division numbering 5,000.

Little Ocean Island's defence minister announced early Tuesday morning that a naval task force will reposition to provide support to allied land forces in the event that hostilities break out.

The task force, consisting of a light aircraft carrier, three cruisers, and four ASW frigates, plus associated support vessels, is capable of undertaking a variety of roles, inxlusing aerial reconaissance, coastal patrols, ASW, minesweeping, insertion of special forces units, casualty evacuation, and precision air to ground attack.

The total complement of the task force is just under 8,000 personnel. The task force provides a naval component to support ground forces already committed by The True Domination and Bweezystan.

Citing national security interests, the defence minister declined to comment on the rumour that one or more tactical missile submarines may be accompanying the task force.

"Little Ocean Island remains committed to peace in the region. However, any would-be aggressor should have no doubt about our forces' ability to defend our interests and those of our allies."

In a dramatic attempt to sway Espario, The True Domination has dispatched 2 divisions of it's 1st Shock Army to Espario's neighboring country.

"The hope here is to show that The True Domination will not settle for anything less than full capitulation from Espario," The PMO press secretary was quoted as saying. "Espario must unconditionally appologize for it's role in Heywood's destruction. If Espario will not come to Canada to face justice, then justice will be brought to the shores of Espario"

Breakdown on TD's 1st Shock Army to follow...

If I join the war on your side will I be able to occupy 1/7 of his territory and be that the most fertile with petroleum? If yes count on Battle Group Rommel, who hasn't seen action in quite a while.

Will you be placing your BGR under my command while in-theatre?

Yes but I will keep a close eye at the war and if I see a falter at your military command I will retain control of BGR. If you do well and I see a need for more soldiers I will send Battle Group Guderian which will also be under your command ( I couldn't send them now because they are being reffited for about 300 lost tanks and the death of 9,000 men in a interference with the Artitsian Civil War).

My nation hasn't got an army, my nation is pacifist my nation has reported an offensive nation to the mods and now you (allies of a nation that VIOLATED NationStates rules) are trying to invade me. We had an army but it was not under our command but of that of a comrade nation. Espario will not resist any type of military action. We DO wan't to announce that the only reason you are invading me is because a reported a friend of you to the lovely moderators. This had nothing to do with Roleplaying.

Millions of nationalist Polynesians are marching towards the capital of Espario to stop the “unfair rule” of the current president. The nationalists have called the President racist and demand full power for the Polynesians who are in fact forming 85% of the Esperi population. Yet, the white minority (12%) are said to have full power over Espario, according to the Polynesian rebels. The nationalists have formed their own army and are said to reach the capital within hours. For months Polynesian rebels are fighting the government, but they never had this much power. The police says it will arrest anyone who is supporting the Polynesian rebels and expects to crush the rebels.

In the early hours of September 17, 18 F-14Ds were launched against Espario from the decks of the HMCS Athabaskan II.

Each of the F-14s are equipped with the latest JTIDS (Joint Tactical Information Distribution System), ECM and RWR testing, live weapons firing, radar and stores management integration, making it the weapons platform of choice for tactical strikes.

Using their ALQ-165 radar jamming equipment, they were able to penetrate Espario's coastal SAM defences, comprised mostly of A-2500 versions of the SA-12, and deliver their payloads (6 x 1000lb) to key military command and control targets. All F-14s returned safely to the Athabaskan II.

This marks the beginning of a campaign designed to cripple the leadership of Espario.

Within the next 48 hrs, The True Domination's 3rd Field Army will advance into Espario's southern flank, while Macabees' Battle Group Rommel will march into Espario's western flank, creating a hammer effect, while the 3rd acts as the anvil against which all resistance will be smashed.

Bweezystan's troops will be providing security along supply routes, and air superiority will be won and maintained by Razamanaz's 4th, 6th, 7th, and 12th combat Wings.

Major Kreig, of the BGR's II Panzer Division carefully monitored ground sweeping radar. His scout's progress across the 45 mile wadi was slow. "Good," he thought. "The driver wants to live beyond this night."

"God-dammit." The driver of the scout cursed under his breath as he passed the line of departure. "Where the hell are they?"

Seargent Kreig drew the proverbial short straw when it came to selecting the first of what promised to be many extended probing ground missions across the 400 mile front. His singular goal was to fix the defences of Espario, and give a point of attack for his follow-on troops. Dangerous work, scouts live short lives in battle, and are most often chosen for their bravery. MacIlvey would be glad to give his, and the life of his crew for this invaluable bit of reconnoissance. He knew from experience that data is the most valuable asset in warfare, and as a huge ball of flame, followed by the concussion of an anti-tank sabot round found it's mark rolled over the wadi, Major Kreig placed a green push-pin on a map to denote the area where his brother's remains now marked the focal point for his I and II Panzer Divisions would form up on.

"Time to join the battle," the Major thought as he signaled his communications officer to persue the advance in a typical offset "L" formation. The II Panzer Division, I Panzer Korp would meet feirce resistance from the dug-in, reinforced Espario main line of defence, but Major Kreig is known among the elite of the BGR as a "career man" and as such, failure was not an option for this ruthless, battle-hardened war vetran.

Espario has no plans to resist and will surrender if the military forces of the enemy reach our capital. In case you do not know (I made athread on this forum about it, though) it the national socialist government as been overthrown and the new Empire of Espario has been born, the Polynesians will give nations our political prisoners if they insist on it.

by "capital" are you referring to that rather large smouldering crater to my left or that smoking pile of rubble to my right?

We would be perfectly willing to consider any terms of surrender the new Esporian government would like to proffer. Or bomb you back into oblivion. We're flexible.

1) The Esparian military must immediately cease firing on all Coalition Forces.

2) The Esparian military must immediately disarm.

3) The Esparian military must abandon all military installations, bases, and equipment.

4) The Esparian military must abandon all formal structure, including rank, assignment, and position.

5) The Esparian Government must relinquish all civil control to Coalition Forces.

6) The Esparian Govenment must turn all individuals involved in the destruction of Heywood over to Coalition Forces, who will be tried in a military tribunal.

6a) All individuals involved in the destruction of Heywood are charged with, but not limited to, the following offences:

- High Treason
- Crimes Against Humanity
- Genocide
- Murder, one billion counts
- Inciting a War

7) The individuals currently in power in Espario must move Espario immediately to the Region of Canada, and post a full apology addressed to Heywood for Espario's heinous act against a peaceful nation on Canada's Regional message board.

We never had an army it was the police and (armed) citizens you were fighting against, bloody supporters of the former government. But of course we agree.

2) The Esparian military must immediately disarm.
It has done months ago and we truly feel nothing for disarming our policeforces it would increase crime, please I wan’t to debate this with you.

3) The Esparian military must abandon all military installations, bases, and equipment.
See above, we also wan’t to debate about police HQ’s.

4) The Esparian military must abandon all formal structure, including rank, assignment, and position.
Do we have to replace those who are in charge of police departments.

5) The Esparian Government must relinquish all civil control to Coalition Forces.
It will be done.

6) The Esparian Govenment must turn all individuals involved in the destruction of Heywood over to Coalition Forces, who will be tried in a military tribunal.
We agree, they will be handed over.
