Theo pulled up in his brand new ford falcon GT. He couldn't believe his parents had been so pissed at him, as to send him to school out of the country. He parked his car and began removing his luggage. After several minutes wandering around he finally located a map. Eventually he made it up into his dorm and collapsed on his bed. He didn't like it already.

* Vladimir wandered the campus completely confused, with him were two black armored soldiers. He wore black robes and had the hood up. he guessed he must look completely redicoulous to the people around him especially with how confusing everything was.*
"Do you think it would be so hard to make a decent and easily followed layout?" He asked the trailing soldiers.
"I doubt it, lord. But eh, we'll find your room eventually. Then we'll find a tavern!" This last bit was proabably meant to cheer Vladimir up, it did.
"Maybe we should ask someone... Hmmmmm, who doesn't look confused and would proabably speak to us?' He stared into a sea of other confused faces, or rather down at a sea of confused faces. Vladimir, like his father, was over 7 feet tall.
"Mayhap, lord." Came the response.

Vladimir continued to wander, looking for a map or map like sign to appear anywhere.
"These "roads" are twisted as an elf's mind," he muttered to his guards. He was as aware as they were that the second they could, they would leave him in this foreign land. Alone.
Both snickered appreciatively. One pointed to a building some mile and a half down the road, "I think that's where we're headed."
"Yeah," Vlad allowed his enhancments to zoom in enough to see the building as if it were mere feet away, " you're right. I owe you a round. So, how do we get through the people in between? Taking into account I have no status here and we shouldn't open fire, even into the air."

The crowds back away from the trio who sheeplishly put their arms away and trudge past the man throwing maps about. If it had been in Padmasa there would have been an unexplained death/disppearance during one of the next few nights, it wasn't so there wouldn't be. Vlad was greatly saddend by this, he truely hated looking like a fool.*
the crazy man dosn't even flinch at the drawing of the weapons (like i said, hes crazy, he probably thinks that they whipped out cucumbers or something). instead, he decides that the people have had enough maps, so he drops the rest (exept for one) and he resorts to trying to give himself a paper cut with it.....

Once Thor got over the shock he replied.
"Fun. Well I used to get into a fair bit of trouble back home. But it was fun. I kind of got exiled by my parents and ended up here. This is my first year. How about you?"

that crazy man walks calmly over to thor (the first calm thin he has done so far) and slowly takes a bananna out of his pocket. he then applies super glue to it. Thor thinks *eww.... is he gonna eat that?* everyone that has been here before thinks *OH NO!!*. he then, fsat as lightning, grabs thor around the head (this guy is a very, very, very burly footbsll player) and shoves the bananna up his left nostril.he holds it there for 30 seconds, then calmly turns and walks into his dorm room. a fe wseconds after he walkis into the building, he jumps through the window and cached the top of a tree.... he sways back and forth very slowly.... and then he ets go. he falls to the ground with a sikening crunch** and several students carry his limp body away....

Thor calmly attempted to wipe the banana of his face. When he realised it wasn't coming off he walked over into a cornor where nobody was looking. He then proceeded to pick apart the banana with his mind. He had never told anyone of his psychic powers and he wanted to keep it that way. He got most of it out and wandered back to Merrie Clarie.

Callie Shaw stepped out of her car, and took a quick look around. She always hated the first day, and this one was even worse. She leant in and grabbed the map from the dashboard, hoping to get her bearings. She studied it for a moment, sighed, then turned it up the other way.
Closing the door, she walked to the back of her vehicle to retrieve her luggage. She managed to drag the case out, after several minutes of effort. It hit the floor with a thud. It seemed her mother had been right, maybe she had packed too much. But she couldn't see what she could have left at home.
Following some other students, she made her way slowly to her room.
*Vlad and his men made excellent time, mostly because everyone stayed well clear. It took several more minutes to reach his room, there were several bunks... but it was larger than his old dorm at the academy. THe first soldier dropped his trunk before one of the beds and the second slid a box underneath it. Vlad threw his pack onto the bed and glanced around. No one else had taken a bed or arrived yet.*
"Hmmmm, think I have enough time to change the locks and get myself a single room?"
"Nah, now come on, we all need a drink. Well actually you don't need a drink, you weren't carrying anything."
"Cute, now follow me men! We now embark on an epic quest, the quest of the golden ale!"
*All three laughed for a minute before heading out. This time it was easy going, all they had to do was follow the music and shouting. They arrived and stopped at the door, Vlad simply walked over to the bar in all his menacing glory and ordered a glass of anything imported from Germany, he turned and watched several games of pool and snickered at some woman's skill, or lack theirof. The two soldiers had disappeared, VLad guessed that they were off to go home. *

Callie finally made it to her room, and left her case by the end of the bed. She walked over to the window, and took in the view. There were so many people milling around outside, and she knew none of them. She sighed, and returned to the bed.
She sat down and pulled out her phone. She promised she'd text everyone when she arrived. She slowly worked her way through the addresses.
Feeling the need to get settled before doing anything else, she unpacked, making the place more like home. She hoped that whoever she had to share with was pleasant. Nothing worse than having a room mate you couldn't get on with.
Once she was happy that everything was in its place, she made her way out to look around and familiarise herself with her new home.

Callie followed silently as Rich continued to show her the other facilities around the campus. She felt a bit guilty for asking too many questions. Her friends back home were always telling her she was too inquisitive.
Finally, not being able to stay quiet any longer. "What are the rules of the place? You know, like leaving the grounds and such?" She let her eyes wander as they walked. "And where does everyone hang around here?"

Callie visibly sighed with relief. Seven miles was definitely a lot better than forty, although that was still further away from civilisation than she was used to. Gone, for the time being, was the ten minute hop on the bus and be right in the middle of town. She sighed, but at least she had her car.
At the mention of the 'Shack', she nodded. It was always a good idea to check out the places frequented by the other students. "I'd love to. Lead the way." As they walked along a thought struck her. "This 'Shack' isn't really a shack, is it? I mean, it's a proper building, right?" She had visions of a small dingy wooden hovel.

Callie stood open mouth. Even if she wasn't really expecting a small hut, she wasn't expecting what stood before her. She had never seen a more inaptly named building. It couldn't have been further from a shack if it tried.
She watched as students milled around, and talked to each other. This was definitely the place to meet people. She followed Rich inside, squeezing through the crowd. She sighed happily when she reached the bar.
"Wow, this place is popular." She took a moment to look around. "This place must make a tidy sum." She turns to Rich. "What's the best thing they serve here?"

She walked over the the end of the table, and took her first shot, Breaking was one of her least favourite parts of the game. She hit the ball, watching as it cannoned into the others, splitting them but no too much.

Callie missed the shot completely. The cue ball went shooting off in the complete opposite direction to what she wanted. She stood up and turned to him.
"I suppose you think that's funny?" She playfully pinched his cheek as she smiled at him. "You're lucky that I'm sure a nice person, otherwise I might have used this cue in a threatening manner." Placing the end of the cue on the floor, she cupped her hands over the tip and lent on it gently.
She then set her mind on seeking her revenge.

Callie looked at Rich, not really sure what to make of him. He seemed to take a lot of pleasure trying to wind her up. She let her eyes wander around the 'Shack' at all the other students present, and she had to admit there were more than enough to choose from.
She still couldn't understand why out of all these other people, not to mention that half of them were probably female, had he chosen to spend time with her. She guessed she must have looked the most gullible and easiest to rib.
"Show us what you can do, boy." She continued to lean on her cue, not making the tiniest effort to but him off his shot. Although she did start to laugh when she thought about the lengths he was going to in order to win.

Callie watched Rich pocket the eight ball and laughed, not unkindly. She never really thought she would win. Her first shots had actually amazed herself. Granted she wasn't as bad as his sister, but she wasn't great either. But she wasn't about to let him know that.
"Was it loser buys the drinks?" She looked at his downcast face. "Hey, it happens to us all. I won't tell anyone if you won't."

Callie waited for Rich's return, and was disappointed when he finally did get back carrying their drinks. She felt the fun she had been having disappear as he stood there in silence. She took a sip, trying to figure out what was the matter.
"Have I said something...wrong?" She looked him in the eyes. "The buying the drinks thing, that was only a joke. I wasn't really expecting..." She left the words in the air.

Callie watched as Rich walked to the door, suddenly feeling slightly humiliated. She looked around to see if anyone had witnessed his sudden exit. She knew they weren't on a date, but she still felt as if she had been walked out on.
Finishing her drink, she sat on the edge of the pool table, her hand finding one of the balls. Slowly she began to roll it around under her hand, her anger beginning to increase. She pushed the ball to the far end cushion, scattering the balls as is hit them.
She made her way back to her room, throwing her stuff down on her bed before hitting the shower.

Callie, still feeling slightly annoyed from the previous evening, prepared to make her way down to breakfast. She'd never thought of herself as the most interesting of company, but she still felt she didn't deserve to be walked out on.
She stood in front of the mirror, combing her shoulder length blonde hair. There was traces of anger in her green eyes, as she recited to herself just what she was going to say to Rich if ever she had the opportunity.
Putting down her comb, she walked over to her bed and picked up her bag. Hooking it over her shoulder, she made her way over to the door. Upon opening it she found a small teddy bear sitting on the floor, with a note attached. Picking it up and reading the message, she smiled as she continued on down the hallway.

Callie was pleased when the class finally came to an end, and she could get out into the sun. Walking over to a shaded area beneath a tree, she threw her bag onto the floor. She spread her jacket over the floor and sat on it, leaning against the trunk.
She opened her bag, pulling out a book, on the subject she had just completed. The physics class had been interesting, but she always liked to review what had been covered, to ensure it had sunk in.
Feeling around inside her bag, her hand made contact with a chocolate bar. She took it out and opened it, taking a bite before settling down to her studying.

Thor wandered out of his class and made his way back to the dorm. His lesson had gone fairly well. He didn't have another class until later on that day. He decided to go check out the track facilities of the Uni as he was interested in doing a little sprinting. After a few minutes of inspection he concluded that it was a fine track and he would enjoy using it.
Thor needed food. He wasn't sure where to get some but with enough wandering around he was confident he could find some.

Callie burst out laughing. She took a moment to get herself together before she was able to talk. "That's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time." She smiled at Rich as she shook her head. "I think that running in the heat has addled your brain."
She slowly began to collect her books together. It was one thing him treating her like a piece of dirt, but did he really think that she was easily won over by the odd compliment thrown at her, randomly.

Callie made her way back to her room, her mood slightly improved by the time she got there. She waved to her room mate, who was talking on her mobile. She dropped her bag onto a chair and sat down on her bed.
Reaching over to the little table next to her bed, she grabbed a chocolate bar and began to eat it. She lay back on the bed and looked at the ceiling, closing her eyes she drifted off to sleep. She knew her room mate would wake her for dinner.
