"On other newsfronts today, the Ostravic Federation has just undergone a massive political upheaval. Following mass protests the country, the worst of these being the capital Ostrav, the Prime Minister, Shay Esgrovic. has been forced to step down. It is believed the military had a part in this.
It is now reported that Douglas Hay, Esgrovic's Defence Minister, has taken reign, with the blessing of the former leader.
"We shall put and end to these protests once and for all" stated Hay, "Martial Law has been enacted, and the military will act accordingly".
The change of power has increased tensions in the North Pacific region. Recently, Ostrava has undergone a "weapons and communications technology" boom, due to a increasingly strong economy and the increase of the nation's industrial and commercial sectors.
