OOC-Before this is started let me just say that this was done with the consent of the original owner of Wishik. He tired of playing and asked me to take over his country.

As a result of last week's devastating attack on the rulers of the Armed Republic of Wishik, Unum Veritas has assumed control of Wishik's government. This decision was made with the goal of preventing a violent and bloody civil war between different factions within Wishik's borders. As some may know, Wishik's only armed force is an air force, because it belongs to a region-wide military and is responsible for aerial operations only. Therefore, several companies of Veritasean marines were flown into Wishik's capital and major cities to keep order. So far the marines have received full cooperation from Wishik's air force and citizens. A curfew of 9pm has been imposed for an undetermined period of time within Wishik's borders to assist the marines in keeping law and order. This transition of power was approved of by the nations residing in the CDOM region. The future of Wishik is currently under deliberation. As of now a tenative ruling council has been created to keep order and to capture and prosecute the former rulers' assassins. The council is formed of prominent Wishik citizens and any decisions must be met with majority vote and approved of by the Veritasean government. Any further developments will be released to the public as soon as possible.

The Nation of Kisnesia would like to offer Unum Veritas a small deployment of troops if necessary to help in re-structuring Wishik.

Your offer is fully appreciated, however at this time it is unnecessary. Things are under control and the citizens are cooperating fully. We are now in the process of capturing the assassins responsible for the previous rulers' untimely deaths. Thank you again for the kind offer.

The American Rome denounces this hostile takeover. We kindly request that elections be held and that a native of Wishik take control of the country within the next few years.

American Rome, this was not a hostile takeover. We were asked to step in to protect the citizens of Wishik. Had we not done so then a violent guerilla style civil war would have ensued, causing the deaths of countless innocents. Now we respect your government's position, however we are a sovereign state and cannot be dictated to. In due time elections will be held and a Wishik citizen will take control of the country, but Wishik shall remain under the Veritasean flag.
