Today, The Rouge Nation of Technophobes, in a totally unexpected move, announced its intent to develop a small spacecraft.
The design of this ship is still classified, but we expect more to be revealed within a week (RL). This has been a TNN report, Thank you for your time.

Update: Our first exploratory ship has been completed, specs here:

NCC-F1313 (Huron)
Length: 40 meters
Crew: 10
Armament: two lasers
Acceleration: 40 m/s^2
Powerplant: one Nuclear Fission Reactor
Notes: The Huron is small, only 40 meters, incapable of FTL travel, and lightly armed. The Huron was designed as a basic exploratory craft, and has since, and will continue to be refitted.
