A group of mentally disturbed scientists were arrested earlier this day. They said that they were working on a Doomsday Device(*).

They had a laboratory in the middle of nowhere(a desert) inside Vulcanus, it was actually an lucky strike to find it while testing our new Spy-Satellite. While the satellite was supposed to detect a group of camouflaged Desert Dogs,an elite Spec-Ops company, it's sensoring equipment found out a buried structure emitting unusual amount of infrared radiation.

The Desert Dogs were informed to take their live ammunition and investigate the facility. All the people found inside the facility were immediately arrested, and a group of military experts were called in to search the premicise for any bombs or traps or such. After a few hours of search, there was found a some sort of Artificial Intelligence hacking on foreign military computers. The AI had to be unfortunately shut down, as the expert couldn't persuade the AI to stop it's doing.

After weeks of searching the hard drives, it's primary directive was found; To launch every nuclear, biological or chemical weapon it could access.

The Vulcanian military now asks for assistance to find out which computers were attacked and were there any software installed(virus?) inside them. This is a matter of international security, please participate.

Nope. My computers are fine... that's a good thing too, because we just found some miniscule amounts of uranium laying above a possible mining area for it. We really don't want to loose a possible mining ground full of uranium, heh, especially since we're a brand new nation! Thx for the warning!

The Democratic States of Mef luckily had pulled all of its nuclear arsenal offline (ooc: 15 whole nuked up ICBMs), right after it had become online, after hearing the news. The government wishes that Vulcanus quickly ends the crisis. DSM is now looking into an almost closed network for its military. Beauracrats rejoice at the news of more complicated processes for the military's network to the outside.

So.. Your computers seem to be okay? We haven't yet located any lists of computers that have been cracked, but we're working on it.(*)

The scientists have been sentenced; 70 years of prison. They'll be spending rest of their lives in cells with no computers around.

(OOC: *= If somebody want's to be on the list; tell me here OOC:ly or via TGram)
