At point blank range, it can penetrate armored glass, but it can ruin the rifle at point blank, because the air cannot escape the barrel properly. Also, this requires a special type of ammo only purchasable from us. If you use regular 45 caliber bullets, you run the risk of causing the c02 tank to explode.

It can be programmed for multiple users. So you can attach it to a database of users, like a whole military db.

And what's wrong with silencers and noise supression? I know an MP5SD (correct me here, people into guns) are so silent that the only thing you hear when it fires is the firing pin moving.
I put 0.001 because it takes that long for the air to expell completely from the gun. 0.00001 is the time it takes from when you fully depress the trigger to the bullet firing.

HAR. .45 caliber C02 powered gun, as if. Airsoft guns (which use C02) can fire a tiny BB at less than 300 FPS. No .45 caliber round is going to have enough velocity to kill if it's C02 powered.

And to be perfectly honest it isn't really needed.
While technically possible a round that size would have a number of problems i would say you would be better off trying to produce a rifle that uses smaller pellets (maybe even in a standard military round size like 5.56mm). It is possible to kill or seriously injure soemone with a decent .22 hunting air rifle if you use the right ammo.
To be honest i have no real idea about CO2 rifles but to me a decent mechanically charged weapon is simpler and reliable.
The again in the Amtrak Wars books they use triple barrel CO2 machineguns...

Even if you switched to 5.56mm, you'd need to expend all of the C02 in the cartridge to get it going anywhere.
