Used to the SA80? want soemthing that offers all the advantages but without the porblems and with some extra advantages?

Well let me Introduce the CFAR S1A3 6.25mm Assault rifle!!!

CFAR S1A3 Combat rifle

http://www.meatballs.terminator.org.uk/images/CFARS1A3.jpg

Round: 6.25x43mm
Weight: 3.4kg (empty magazine)
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds
Length: 790mm
Barrel length: 570mm
Rate of fire: 500 rounds per minute
Max effective range: 600m (with sight).

The S1A3 is a Bull pup arranged rifle designed around the forgotten British 6.25x43mm rifle cartridge. During a series of trials it was identified as being close to the optimum for an infantry round. The 6.25mm round offers performance equal to the larger 7.62 NATO round out to about 600m but with recoil and ammo weight very close to 5.56mm rounds.

The S1A3 uses a much improved version of the SA80 mechanism offering rock solid reliability and performance (a must in the harsh conditions found all over Crookfur), the bull pup design allows for a greatly reduced length making the S1A3 perfect for airborne or mechanised infantry. Included in the basic package is a 4x scope based on the British SUSAT, this is mounted on integral weaver rails allowing alternative sights to be used if desired.

Cost: $850

If you would preffer a more conventional rifle we have a 6.25mm conversion package availble for the M16/AR15 family and our S7A3 rifle:

CFAR S7A1 Assault rifle

http://www.meatballs.terminator.org.uk/crookfur/images/S7A3.jpg

Round: 6.25x43mm
Weight: 3.5kg (empty magazine)
Magazine capacity: 30 rounds (can also use 50 round drums)
Length: 920mm
Barrel length: 440mm
Rate of fire: 700 rounds per minute (semi auto, 2 round burst and full auto modes).
Max effective range: 550m (with sight).

Designed as a more conventional alternative the S1A3 bullpup rifle the S7A1 is based on a highly modified Heckler and Kock G36 chassis. By using this basis the S7A1 retains most of the extreme accuracy possessed by the S1A3 while offering a more flexible solution. To enhance this flexibility the S7A1 features a Rail interface system as standard on both the barrel shroud and carry handle allowing the mounting of numerous combat accessories. The Rail system is supplied with covers to enhance carrying comfort for the user. The rifles is Shipped with a 1.5x Optical sight to supplement the iron sights but this is easily replaced by many advanced systems.

Cost: $950

While we have quoted unit prices we will be happy to offer a 10%bulk discount on your order and include the plans and rights to produce your own ammo.

If these still don't meet your needs we can offer custom versions of a number of firearms in different rounds including 5.56mm nato, 6.25mm, 6.5mm Grendel, .270Win, 7.62mm Nato and .303british.

NO flashy pics for me.

In any case, the GCAS11 is slight future tech, it fires a caseless round, and looks vaugly like an MP5. THe round is basicaly a piece of copper and a cap buried in an explosive charge. It makes bullets MUCH lighter. The rifle carries clips of 20, 30, 40 or 50, your choice. Its accurate to 1000 yards on a clear day with no wind, sever weather limits its effective range to about 650 yards. It fires one shot, three round burst, or full auto. There is a light machine gun varient avalible as well. GLACORP chose to retain bayonet mounts, so those are there if you want them.

Cost: 5000 per rifle
+1000 for light MG varient
+500 for UGL (Universal Grenade Launcher)
+2000 for Infrared scope

Hmmm???

[petty competition]Mine are cheaper![/petty competition]

Seriously:

The Dakalian Trade Directorate is surprised that any nation would pay 5000 for a rifle due to some piddling technological advances... and state that an AK-47 is just as capable, if not more so, of putting lead/steel on target.

But mine provide troops with a sense of moral. In any case an AK does fine at 200 yards, but mine shoot up to 1000 (on a good day, as said)
