We recommend the SHUD system for ground troops.
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/blps1.jpg
It may look like a pair of sunglasses, but instead it is a unique HUD unit for the modern soldier.
It gives data on ground position using GPS, a compass, a laser distancing system, NVG and IR mode and info on friendly unit positions.
And this isnt all in a bulky pack on the soldier. It is all fitted in a box on the back of the soldiers helmet, which is attached by wires to the goggles.
The glasses are made of shatter and scratch proof material, and is very hard wearing, and the whole kit is waterproof.
Now, the magic thing is, the box on the helmet contains a transmitter, which emits a signal to other SHUD units. This transmitter can be placed on any other friendly unit, and shows up as a big blue cross on a soldiers HUD. This informs the unit of where friendly units are, so he knows they are friendly.
The transmitter system can be placed in tanks or planes, so they too can see if other units are friendly or not.
All this in a compact package. A soldiers best friend.
.........Much like the Terminator HUD actually.
Think of it as real life Terminator vision......bot not red, unless you are James Bond.

Ok, I didnt think people would want that many......
something like that?
i want to equip every damn soldier in my military with them
I thought there were a good idea.
It would be nice to have them in RL...... see how far to the chip shop
These kinda eradicate Friendly Fire (unless your a total fuckwit) and can improve battlefield knowledge.......great to see how far it is to sprint to the other side of the street.
You can attach a cable to them that you plug into a vehicle, and the on your HUD you get a lot of info on the vehicle you are in (ammo, fuel etc)
As in, 4 soldiers find abandoned tank. Hop in it, plug in SHUD and instant vehicle knowledge.
Its a kinda real life computer game.

We would also like research notes and blueprints to the Plasma reactor. It seems very interesting, and our scientists and techies are already drooling over the picture.

well... i'll send the 20 with their riders(you need the riders or the dragons will go to them and they will not fight without them), but you shood(SP?) know that the dragons are all blue, not white, so they are 20 to 30 feet long and the riders are 15 to 20.
the Plasma reactor is not mine, well it is but i did not make it, and they can't be moved, so i need to take them off.

Thank you for the dragons and riders, Bob. Are there other colors?
OOC: I like Anne McCaffery(sp?) too! I believe that i read almost all of the DragonRiders of Pern books, from Dragondawn to the Dolphins of Pern. Quick Q: How old was Jaxom when he first touched the white dragon's (i forgot his name) egg? I got confused because it seems like he's 12, when there's another chapter or so, and he's like 17 or something. :?
